It makes the Vertex issue seem irrelevant.

I searched the Maryland database for his business name and he never applied for a business license. The address he is operating from is not a registered business location. However the Tattoo shop does have a license:

(L12153078) FLAMING DRAGON TATTOOS Personal Property INACTIVE

That would mean he has no license to file the purchase on his tax forms.

It also means he is in trouble should someone decide to turn him in for operating a business without a tax ID. Tax evasion is nothing to mess with. It also means anyone with an email address can report that business ID to the BBB for selling dangerous goods to consumers.

If one of those ever get on the used market someone could get killed.

Seriously someone needs to report his ass. Those things are deathtraps. Not amplifiers. Regardless of which party made an agreement.

From what I can tell, it is still not an actual business. Maybe someone with better tools can confirm.

This clip actually sounds decent and it there is no studio trickery as with the Mike Himmel stuff!! Would I pay 2K for one of his amps? Nope!!! But you have to give the guy props for making his dream happen even if that dream contains lighting bolts, cup holders, gold knobs and cheesy looking amps!!!

Eddie Van Halen had cabs like this and its genius...Billy did NO TOLEX, and NO speaker covers cause the speaker covers take off the top end frequencies of the tone (even if its a few DB), tolex can dampen it as well, Billy went old school EVH style to where these X-Pattern WGS speaker loaded MONSTER cabs sound FRICKIN amazing!!! I personally think Im SOLD on WGS speakers...period. What I heard at Nashville NAMM was simply mind blowing, the BEST tone I have heard, unless I was beside Eddie at Sunset Sound Recording Studio's, Hollywood Califiornia 1978 (VAN HALEN 1), wish everyone a great night! <img src="">

Really dude , you go on raving about getting early EVH tones from a BB amp with a cabinet loaded with V30's in a X pattern and those speakers are about as far from EVH tones you could possible get .
No amp is going to give you all the mojo without the proper speakers to compliment it . And if you think a high gain BB modded marshall tone with WGS V30's and high wattage greenback clones is the recipe for early EVH , you way off course.

Ya....ever since the Cameron drama dropped off my late night reading has reverted back to hedge funds and the world market. Nice to see some good dialogue be it good or bad. To the amp, if you like the tone???? buy the mother fucker. if you do not like the look....buy a headshell and dump the guts into it. Simple problem, simple solutions .

This is an awesome thread, and has awoken the remnants of the RT forum from about 3 years ago. Over the last two years, a lot of knowledgible players have either partially or completely, jumped ship, due to the ignorance spouted by people that are probably still living in their mother's basement.

Any press, whether good or bad.......is still press.

Seriously, why would we want him to prosper? Just curious. Curious as to your motive here.

Conversely, I don't want the guy to be destroyed either. I mean, I can give him credit for creating what he set out to create I guess. I don't have to agree with the way he went about it and I don't agree with his lack of professionalism but that's his problem not mine (ours). Public forum is public.

I have no beef with you personally and honestly do not have a single dog in the fight but all you've really been able to do is point to the good tone and some pictures with Michael Wagener. You keep asking for proof of what is wrong with the builds - which has been provided over and over again. Mostly, everything on this forum is old news.

Again - I'm just discovering this whole fiasco.
