Unless you are orthodox you are just a heretic to me so that kinda narrows it down to a few hundred thousand, max, maybe. This is sprung from protestants who are well meaning but massively misguided.

I live in the bible belt, I was raised christian and forced to go to a parochial school. I know plenty of Christians. None of them want to make it the law of the land.

What I mean is I doubt you are having these sort of discussions with your Christian friends so do you really know if they desire a "christian" nation? I don't even have these conversations but I can pick up on the fact that most protestants do want a protestant run nation.

You're not informed on the issue and your hair trigger cynicism won't change the reality of the threat that American citizenry and our Constitutional republic faces from this movement. We can go back and forth all night but it's pointless until you've studied the topic. I know what I'm talking about and it doesn't have jack to do with any so-called scare tactics from "the left". I talk politics with almost everyone. Most of them, even the liberals around here, are at least somewhat christian. None of them has ever led me to believe they wanted a christian run nation. I think it's bullshit, probably dreamed up by the same people who have been attacking christians for decades now and soft soaping liberals into a frenzy about how they're going to be forced to have to look at a picture of a cross somewhere.

I get your point and I do think the risk is overstated especially since Trump does not seem to be a genuine christian but what Christian is gonna just come out and say "we need a christian controlled government" to a non believer, especially on a job site? And how many would happily go along with it if it came to fruition?
