In all respect to all. Is it possible to at least have a weekly update posted at this point, (in light of the dealys and the drama surrounding everything Cameron), even if there is nothing new? Allot of guys trusted in Brad and TW and are holding true to this trust. I believe guys are pm'ing looking for anything new. Wouldn't it be less stressfull just to take a minute and post up so guys don't have to beat around the bush with their feelings by posting comments or pictures or bother you with PM's? It's obvious allot of guys are feeling anxiety over the situation. Not to take away from Brad and Tone Merchants. I am sure they are feeling allot more than us which is why communication would help both them and us. A good portion of their anxiety is because of us.
I have no doubt this will happen, its just the not knowing that I feel is causing anxiety. Maybe I am wrong. :scared: If thats the case I'm done from now on.
In all respects :rawk:

They are being stuffed now, when ever we have anything new we will post it.

I agree. And by no means am I ragging on anybody (the skeleton pic was purely for comedic value). I have complete trust in Brad, Rob and all involved in pulling this together. It's just that, given the sordid history around Mark and this amp in particular, multiple delays do not breed confidence in those waiting to "bring the rock" with this thing..... That being said, I can fully appreciate what a significant undertaking it is pulling this all together.

As such, some proactive communication as to progress - even if there is no progress to report - would help manage everyone's expectations and probably reduce the number of PM's to Brad and Rob as to where it stands.

I know there are some guys on the wait list that sold the farm to buy the CCV, so are desperate to get their amp. I'm thankfully not in that situation, but I am eager to get this thing, plug it in and blow some wind through my pant legs.

Peace! :rawk:

Thanks Brad! Just knowing the stuffing is in progress is a huge win.

Shit can take longer then expected__ Take your time boys, It would be fun to have progress pics though and it would likely bring in more orders!

This is good news Brad. I can't imagine the manufacturer beginning production without first hand knowlege of when the chassis and logos will be in. I wouldn't think they would just sit everything aside and wait for chassis. Havn't heard a word about Mark Cameron. Will he be actively involved in the final testing?

Mark who?
I think Kurt talked to him. I;m curious if all is well with him and that he will be doing the final testing. I'm sure yes but his ear on it is a must.

I'm on the "2nd run" list..... makes it even tougher!! I'm probably looking at a Christmas delivery. :D

EDITED:
As far as the comments about needing to know are concerned I do need to know what's going on here. $3585 of my hard earned money is sunk in this amp and I need to know where things stand to decide if I am sticking with it or not which is my prerogative.

I know Brad's a great guy...just having a really hard time with this wait, that's all.

Hmmmm? I'm confused. On 7/19 the boards were to arrive soon to be stuffed immediately and chassis were to come in soon after. Now it seems a few weeks later the boards are still being stuffed. Everything seems to be moving very very slow and I can't tell if an amp is coming in august or October?

I have waited about as long as I can and need to evaluate my options here. I see at least one other who is selling their spot was denied a refund. Paypal will not be thrilled to hear customers do not have amps after 16 weeks for an 8-10 week expected timeframe. I will also say the famous 45 day rule to file a dispute does not apply here since items have not been delivered. I ran all this by paypal and they said it is not good when buyers have paid but have not received anything. They tend to side with buyers who have paid but do not have anything. Since the CCV is offered to anyone via the website it is not considered a custom item either.

I don't want to go there but am not sure what to do. I am not wanting to cause trouble and am not blaming anyone. Just saying this indefinite waiting is not working for me and I would not have entered this deal if I thought it would take 5,6,7 months. Sorry but I really have tried to be patient here. Not sure I can much longer. Maybe I will sell my spot to metalmaniac93 if he is interested or just list it if refunds are not offered as i don't want trouble...just an amp.

I just want to let you know I am not on the wait list or have a pre-order for one but I was at Tone Merchants with Mark and was there when the production prototype was being played in the show room. It was clearly the superior sounding amp out of the other ones there. There were some things they were having trouble sourcing but from what I last heard they have it all situated. I have no dog in this fight but just wanted to let you know that you will have a amp soon. If you want the best sometimes you have to wait I know they did not want to compromise on somethings to get the amp done faster because they do not want to compromise on the tone.

I say hang in there man! The CCV is such a killer amp! Totally worth the wait! I'm sure Brad wouldn't have stepped in to make this happen if he didn't think it were truly possible and it definitely seems like the end is in sight for the first batch. If you bail now you'll be stuck wondering what if... and if you hold on a bit longer, you'll either end up with a killer amp or if you don't dig it, I'm sure you won't have trouble flipping it to the next guy in line for what you have into it! Just my .02

Once production starts, I'd say the days of buying new and "flipping for what you have in it" are over. Why would someone forfeit the lifetime warranty to save a few week build time?

Rokker, Barrang began stuffing last week. All of their stations were set up with CCV parts. I don't think they would have put the amps into their production schedule without having first hand knowledge the chassis and logos would be in soon. Barrang will need approx. four weeks to complete the first build run. If things go well from now on , I am guessing we are looking at another three weeks to complete the builds and another few days to a week of testing. Five more weeks give or take is my speculation. What I am hoping for.

Good luck guys. Looking forward to some rave reviews when I get back at the end of the month.

Steve

Hey Guys,

Nobody wants these on the street more than me. We are in the home stretch now. I came off the bench to climb this mountain not really knowing what I was getting myself into but thinking "how hard could it be"? Well it is hard. ;)

There has been hurdles and road blocks to getting this launched. Remember Mark couldn't get it done in the last 8 years even with a deep pocket investor Chris Schmidt in the past. I have been at it for about 6 months and we are close to having them ready. I realize the nature of the beast with gear is "I want it now" I dont blame ya, I was same way when I was buying tons of stuff in the past. In retrospect I should of took the dumble/Ken Lawrence tact with these and totally under promised when we could have them ready. Lesson learned for any future amps if I even bother to launch the CCM and Other Cameron gear after the CCV.

Bottom line is you wont get F*&cked, you will get one of the best amps in the world and we are doing everything in the world to get them on the UPS truck. Rokker, you know me and we have done lots of stuff together. you will never get screwed over. I am sorry you sold off every amp waiting for the CCV, I would of told you not to do that with any new launch. in the end you will lov your new CCV once your rocking it and the pain of the wait will be behind ya.

I apologize and wish I didn't post what I did..in fact it's gone now.
None of this is anyone's fault, just the way it is.
I'll try to be more patient...sorry again.
I'll go kick my own ass now for being a dick.
