Good point. Wow! Western Union... Sound risky - but it seems people are getting their amps. You would think that he would accept credit card payments? Seems like an odd way to do business if you ask me...

As far as what I was last told Mark is not taking new orders at this moment so he can get his back log filled. I got my deposit in back in March when he was taking new orders. Jerry took over to help Mark with the orders including the wait list and according to him no new orders right now.

(spelling?) what a monster amp.. its in an old twin chassis.he got some mercurys the other day...should be even some better news shortly for new orders. he says 2 or three amps going out early this week.

Good to hear. I am jealous, I would love the opportunity to hang out (or work )with Mark while he has a soldering iron near by. I have a lot of tonal ideas.

Mark called me the other day saying he was shipping my (and John P's) 4x12 cabinets on Monday. Let's hope everyone gets their stuff soon

Will be interested to hear what you think of the cab and speaker selection. Think I will go out to the cave and make some serious noise....

And I am getting the fender twin mod to my plexi... hoping to have it back soon .... jerry was it a fender twin or a plexi ? if it's a twin thats Mark's amp with a new circuit different from anything he's done. I heard it at his house a little over 2 years back and requested he do that mod to my plexi, plus i sent him red mercury trannies for it....excited to get it back... let me know if you need anything from me.

yea the twin is legit...i thought it was better than the ccv and ccm...massive explosive bottom end....does that swirling gain thing to. the way he did the heaters and preamp is nothing short of badass, most gain i ever heard and quiet as hell!

I had been speaking to Mark for a while before 08 namm when we met. He had been talking about this new amp circuit he had been working on for like 4 years.... When i went to his shop to check it out he revealed an old fender twin chassis that had mercury magnetic trannies and was completely gutted and redone.

It's a 3 channel amp that is footswitchable, a super punchy hi headroom fender clean / hi watt head room but with the ability to be overdriven also. A hot rodded rhythm channel that sounds super hot and compressed but feels tight and open , and a footswitchable lead channel. The amp has 3! gain controls that all interact with each other. Massive bottom, big blooming harmonics , and just that over the top slicing cameron mid tone...

looks like I mixed some stuff up I thought that monster twin was your Jay. You have a RI 59 there? I think he said that was done. Sorry disregard my rigtalk pm. I was so stoked about the tone on that sucker, and we were talking about jays amp at the same time. Thigs are getting sorted out there for sure though so hang time y'all.

After talking to Mark last month, I was left with the impression that he only had a few left? I got one (yet to be shipped...maybe today?), Johnpace2, I believe sah5150 was getting one too....but he lives close enough to pick it up.

There would be no peace in California if I lived that close to Mark
