I used to and still really do like the look and sound of the Bones in clips. Never seen one here in Australia. Weird he then went on and became what seems to be another Jose Marshall guy.

Honestly, I think the Bones amp was one of the WORST amps I've ever played. My friend Paul had one and his quote was "I can get better tone smacking my dick against a cinder block than from a Fortin Bones amp"

Yeah, I’d have to agree. I had a Bones and Mooncobra had one also.
There was one particular tone I could get that I enjoyed, but it got old very quick.
 
Maybe Fortin thought covid would kill us all and he delayed the amp's launch til now. Engage 757 seems to be the only casualty.
I think Fortin still would have sucess even on this forum if he just went back to modding marshalls. I would love a fortin mod. But his standalone amps have failed pretty universely (to stand the test of time) with exception of the cali which is a modded marshall. They have all sold well, but I wonder how long that continue after people stopped sucking his dick and the standby issue with the sigil was a fucking nightmare for the guy's business
 
It seems the evil pumpkin was about to be released before covid, and then just went away. I don't remember if it was covid itself or the huge wave of bad publicity of him not refunding the standby issue and everyone finding out that his amps were not built by him at all. Larry had a lot to do with killing his name here, which is fair play it seems. I know Fortin was the second coming there for a bit.

hes the popular player from 1985 that gets brought up for no reason that derails threads away from the actual topic trying to be discussed, once 1985 guy comes up for whatever reason you know that thread will inevitably turn into 80s metal review lol. ive seen it happen in i dont know how many threads like that grunge one or the cialis vs levitra

about 20 years ago it was just a small group of people (myself included) who bailed ship from HCFX, and it was mostly pedal discussions and circuits, with a lot of tongue-in-cheek humor. Good times. But that place dried down as well, methinks.

Which isn't actually listed based on an AFFIRM calculation. I'm guessing it will be higher when it is actually released. I'd be happy to be wrong about something being more expensive for once though lol
 
Was supposed to be built by the team that builds Victory Amps and Dover, don’t hear much from them. I’d be interested just cause Jason isn’t a Dbag like Engage757 - Frankhouser can play 🤟🏼
