The lows are in the room Larry

I liked your Fortin Natas clips alot better

At least Mike never publicly shit on a patron and supporter of his work.

To me Patreon Is like charity  I'm not against it if is used to help really poor people.

Patron as in customer, not referring to social media charity

I don't know where Mike is going to shit, but I really don't shit publicly - but sometimes it might appear like this on the first sight.

Concerning amps, sounds and technique in general I'm straight ahead w/o cosmetics around my words and not polite - but I'm honest and you always will hear exactly that what I think ;)

Believe me, this is the best way to go

Disheartening to see there is not a single audio clip in existence (besides a fully produced album) that makes the Larry sound worth $6,000.

I have heard a ton of phone clips and use them myself so am familiar. The palm mutes do sound great but anything played open, like Larry said sounds like a can of bees.

I am not completely doubting the amps are great. I believe they are and every owner has said they are the greatest amps in the world. But if the amp is so great how is it that every single clip makes it sound mediocre?

I've played Warhead78's Larry. I will say it's one of the best sounding amps I've ever played. The bite and punch controls are very cool. Almost work kind of like what Mike did on the Randall thrasher.

That is why I do not doubt it. Plus the pictures of the work just look incredible. But yes, every single person who has played one that I have seen says the same thing. One of the best amps ever played. It is just a shame how every audio clip sounds....well... not as described.

Reza will sort that out when he gets his or "you know who" gets his preamp which I'll also drive to check out.

True, I guess Reza will have his soon from the sounds of it.

Honestly can't wait for that. That guy needs to have a gearfest at his house lol.

Iced Earth sounds badass live as well, best live guitar tone I’ve ever heard

Can not compute. Can not compute. “Greatest” high gain amp can’t record well.

Why does the Fortin Natas and the Pumpkin record well though? Hmmm. :dunno:

Seems to be a discrepancy between these so called plagiarized amps and the Champ.
Analysis:

A defiant, frustrated little something slightly over pre-school age tries to provokate an accured mature guy hoping for success, because in the kindergarden its fellows always have accept it. Should I go down to its level, so many levels deeper, to offer it the pleasure by jumping in its game? At least once?

Maybe I should start a poll about this question once again?

Diagnosis:

Incurable mentally ill

Therapy:

The only thing I’ve got to add to this dumpster fire of a thread is that I know for a fact that Engage has been banned by the former owner of Sevenstring.org/current owner of Metalguitarist.org on both forums, so that “I’ve only been banned from one forum” is a complete lie. I’ve never had a personal interaction with him, but hostility and bullshit seem to follow that guy around EVERYWHERE he goes. I’m astounded that any company still chooses to use him as a PR guy with the track record he’s got.

This. Every SLO clip out there sounds meh; until Reza put one out. He knows how to do it.

But this reminds me of the Wizard clip argument...the result? Gotta be in the room to experience the amp. No clip will do it.

That sounds pretty wicked man. Love that tone. Very crisp and defined.

Need to try one of these soon.
