Giant thread of fake stuff and things I don't believe in

That’s pretty weird man.
Don't take everything so seriously

Seems like a way to make it sound more technical and exclusive. Someone said cisgender once and I had to look it up. It just means gender.
I think that might have been me. I was having a big back and forth with either @AYRAR or the @ Thing That Shall Not Be Named. I was just being hard to read and passive/aggressive as usual. :dunno:

Not stuff I don't like, stuff I don't believe in. And stuff that is fake.
So that means it is possible for you to not believe in something, or call it fake, and still like it? Right?

Or is it more that you can't pass judgement on something that you don't believe in?

You can"t like/not like something that isn't real. I guess you could but it would actually mean your like/not like is just imagination and not real. Fake thoughts. I don't believe in those.

I don't believe in star wars, star trek, and other space movies. Scit-fi is fake and lame because it is less fantastical than reality. Why would I waste my time.

did you see the outfit she picked out though?

I agree it's less fantastical than reality though. There is no mystery to it. I also don't understand light sabers. Light is weightless. Why are light sabers only a few feet long? They could be infinitely long with no noticeable difference to the user, besides being more effective.

I've rejected it all though, it's propaganda material. Space doesn't exist. A whore in a dress isn't going to cause me to turn my head. Top gun is about as sci fi as I can handle. Telescopes are a lot cooler than any of that stuff so you have that.

It's interesting to think of it as propaganda. Thinking back to those times, they had high hopes for how "futuristic" the times would be that we are living in now. In some ways I suppose tech has met expectations, but space travel certainly as not. Most planets we only know exist because they happen to eclipse stars while we are looking at them. We are along way from hitting a button and traveling to them.

It's interesting to watch things appear and then disappear at the same time, everyday.

It's a material world and you have a material body and are relegated to existence here only because of it. You aren't walking out. Or flying out. You live here, you work and travel here, you die here. No space. On death since you depart from your material body you will have 3 days for your spirit to roam the earth to anyplace you delight. And then a chance to ascend the ladder through the aerial toll houses. If you have lived a life saintly enough you are allowed to pass them upward into the greater heavenly realms. Then perhaps you will have your adventure in the vastness of creation that you call space. From the teachings of Seraphim Rose and other holy fathers it is understood that many of us are caught in the lower realms and aren't allowed to pass. This is why we pray for the dead. An act of love. Good morning.

Genesis 3:19
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Thats fine.
As long as you know Ace Frehley really is from Jendel.

I don't believe in Kiss. They blew it after the first album. When a guy in the band has the sound, he has the sound and you ride that until the end. A similar debacle to the knuckleheads behind John Fogerty in CCR.
