Saw the video of Mesa discussing it directly.

Mark IIC++ to be released in May of 2025 limited to only 200 units.

There’s your reason why they won’t be modding IIC+ RI to IIC++ and were designed the way they were on purpose.

I'm a little surprised that it'll be limited to 200, but the alleged price may be self limiting anyway. Saw speculation on another forum that it could be $6-7k.

I would not be surprised to see similar Rev F or Rev C treatment coming for the Recto.

Still happy with with IIC+ RI so they can do whatever they want to milk the cow

I fucking called it after the announcement of the IIC+ Reissue. Gibson can’t help themselves. How else are they going to ask exuberant prices? ?

These corporate shills are so predictable.

Honestly at this point the amount of commodification is a bit disheartening, and depressing, just with the "guitar gear" world in general

The entire gear industry is just a money sink for white collar professionals who spend their time "At work" answering emails and watching youtubers shill, so they can consume product and get excited for next product - it's a little weird because the industry was not always like this

Thank god mark III prices are still in the realm of sanity, if i can find a deal I might grab one just to remind me of when guitar gear was for making music with, instead of PrODuCiNG ConTeNT

very-cool.webp

How are you supposed to pronounce that? "To see peepee?"

And I was hoping the reference was intentional. Vay Cuagh.

There's some very interesting correlations between the movie and tv industries and the guitar/music industry ?

Luckily all we get of THE MESSAGE is a million female Fender artists no one's ever heard of, Mike Fuller getting cancelled, and Insta-gay drama between youtube shillers

The actual product and quality decline comparison is stark though - both movies/tv and music have become banal beyond belief

Makes me happy I'm not keeping up with the joneses. I think the only thing I'm aware of is the Fuller thing, and only barely. Agreed on everything going to crap. At least I haven't yet made it through all the older, better stuff, so still exciting new (to me) things to discover. Like that Satan album you recommended a while back.
