Ohhh nooo, don't build a badass strat with a Ebony board, roasted neck with a great tonewood body! NOOOO I need a another bland ass 1 blown it out my ass output pickup guitar with a floyd (that I will barely use) because it looks cool and I can have EDDIE or SHID PANTS TONE!!!

Strings must pass through body. If they then get hard bent on a tall tom, nasty palm mutes follow. The fucking reasonance
But then the tension is going to be brutal on that 25.5 scale. Maybe more resonance?

Sorry we didn't pick the popsicle stick body :ROFLMAO:

Are you using 13s in standard tuning?

I’m not really a Super Strat guy even though I recently got my very first one a few months back to mess around with a Floyd for the first time. Liking it so far. I usually play Gibson’s. I can definitely say a Super Strat should be all it can be that is not a Gibson. Got to be a Trem on there or …why exactly? I do like the 2 point Wilkinsons but kind of comes down to if you want a locking nut or not. I picked flush mount because I like the D-Tuna that came on mine.
I don’t mind a mahogany body. Sold Ibanez models in the 90’s where they started doing a mahogany body and they sounded fine. Just a hair warmer but nothing drastically different. Shit, my 80’s V is made of Alder and it sounds as Gibson as anything I’ve ever had.

Ladies and Gents, the RT sig guitar!!

Though TOM with tailpiece would be my last pick, TOM with stringthrough body would probably second.
Maybe tied with a Hipshot. Someone posted that Simpsons car video in one of the first polls and initially thought no way, but they may not be far off. :ROFLMAO:

I'm sure you'll feel at home over at sevenstring.
They tend to like those wish.com things. :ROFLMAO:
Agile does have some good models, though.

I'm kidding. Agile always had nonsenical strats and tele builds that I thought were funny. In all seriousness though...do many really feel a 25.5 scale is a bridge too far, no pun intended. Not trying to bring up tension in your thread, again no pun intended.

If it makes you feel any better I change out the top two strings with a 10 and a 12. Eat your heart out Dick Dale.

I have no idea.
Personally, I prefer the right tool for the job.
So, it just depends on what the job is. 🤷‍♀️
