I had to start guitar on a vintage Jag. I still hate those junk axes but dang they had a lot of chrome, knobs, dials, and switches on them that seemed impressive to a kid.

I would have voted, but yeah not sure about everyone else. Kahler trems seem nifty.
 
This is a build by committee…and we all know what committees are good for. Almost nobody is going to love every spec. We should all have known that going in and not gotten butthurt when it didn’t come out exactly like you would have built it.

I’m trying to look at it like: “this is something I would never have built myself…and that is a GOOD thing!” I tend to follow the same recipes.

Maybe I’ll learn something.
 
I have never played a bigsby, so i will refrain from shit talking the actual efficacy, but the thing looks pretty toylike

We'll see where it goes. Feel that some of the voting going on is based around general personal preferences and maybe not considering specifics to the build. Which is weird because I've stated numerous times that there will be more. It's okay, I'm taking notes on what to and what not to offer in the next builds. Def would prefer not to spend thousands of $ on something no one is going to want. Not trying to build a meme guitar here.

Suppose it's partially my fault for having so many options. All of that said; this is pretty on par at the moment with a super strat and ultimately I will executive decision override any insane selections and/or offer new poll. Because $. Not trying to be bitch, just a realist. The only issue I have is that I do feel it's in poor taste to use alternate accounts to vote more than once or to vote when someone has never participated in the forum.

Yeah thats pretty fucked up. At first I felt like I should bow out since I have zero chance of winning (or probably even competing for) it but you said you wanted input and I've built a few and enjoying spec'ing out gear.

On the bridge, my vote completely changed based on where we were at. Nobody wants my old fuddy duddy 6-screw original anyway. :ROFLMAO: So flush the Gotoh I say.

I would say that everyone has an equal chance of winning so long as they participate in the upcoming giveaway.

This is why I have allowed members to change their selection as they may have a second choice that aligns with the direction of the build.
 
I like superstrats. But i havent had one in ages. I think my solar was my favorite of that bodystyle. I did modify if by putting high quality electronics in it and removing weird shit like neck pickups, tone knobs and switches.

If it had a hardtail, I would have kept it. That was a special guitar.

But the headstock and horns are pointy, the strings are straight to the tuners, the volume in line with bridge, and the headstock was reversed as the dark lord loves

I know trem is winning, and it is smart to change vote to control which trem...But I am fucking proud of how much love the string through Tom is getting. I thought it must be a secret, but it seems some people get it.

Everyone that has played my guitar has got it.
