First it was tainted pangolin steaks from a wet market, then it was "accidentally released". Let's not be naive, they released that with bad intentions.
I never bought the conspiracy angle. It doesn't make sense. Anyone who would release a bio weapon capable of impacting the entire world still has to live in that world. Would you nuke an enemy country if you knew the same number of nukes would be fired at your own house? Nobody would do that.
The much simpler explanation is that China is a shithole country with shit regulations and as a result, some idiot Wuhan scientist didn't follow procedure, or didn't have adequate equipment, or some element of the safety protocols broke down, and they accidentally brought it outside the lab and it infected people.
Trump wants to deregulate America in the exact same way, btw, because regulations cost his donors time and money, which they have told him they don't like. And Trump is going to do what's best for the richest people in the country who would screw over every other person on the planet for a dollar.
