Saw the clip pop up this morning and was wondering if it was yours! That was quick. Sounds killer. Henric has some chops too.

it really was! slot was offered on 1/7/25 and here we are just about 20 days later!!

lets see how long it takes for it to get to the US and how long it sits in customs

So you loaded this one up but it doesn’t have an effects loop? Does it have DC heaters?

correct, i did not want an effects loop because i run all my effects through the power station loop anyway. way too lazy to move those cables around hahaha. do not know about dc heaters but i can ask if you'd like!

Definitely need some more micd clips of these out there. Plan on doing some stuff soon. But holy crap going through all the options… would be a long one.

already dreading it hahaha!

You'll have the incredible feel of the low end frequencies pushing a lot of air in the room when playing his amps with a bit of volume. The famous camera's image shaking when he does his videos. It's a unique and awesome feel that his mod does it incredibly well!
Unlike some YouTubers that, in order to pretend they are loud, and their amps have the massive low end Hermanssons got, they use a camera effect faking the warble thing.

Wow I did not realize people were faking the camera shake!

How does it compare to your Cameron’s btw? You’ve got so many great amps of all types, would love to hear where the Hermansson fits in!

I love the Cameron stuff the same. However, the Hermansson sounds absolute nothing like any other amp out there, including Camerons. Henric managed to create his own sig tone, and to me it's one of the very best.

sweet, thank you for the context, much appreciated!

Have you ever played the folkesson? I thought I remembered hearing he was henrics mentor at one point. @ultimatemetalguitartones clips of his are killer.

Great thread, the play by play of waiting on the amp and seeing it built is really cool. Amp sounds killer, ultra tight as always.

Also I didn’t realize Henric had that much precision and vocabulary in his playing. I wonder if part of the reason his amps sound as articulate as they do is because that’s what works best for his own playing.

I still can’t get over how tight his amps are without sounding quacky like a half cocked wah either.

I did. A good friend owned a 50w RI with his MK7. Incredible sounding amp, but Hermanssons sound nothing like a Folkessons. Completely different sounding amps.

Let’s not go generalizing - he’s not the only one that can shake cameras. I designed a completely new resonance circuit that delivers the same goods but retains the high gain character, so you don’t have to dial in that super tight clanky clean gain to get the amp to do it unless you want to. OP is on my waitlist for the Abaddon++ that delivers the same goods if not better.

Glad for the OP as that’s one badass amp that can deliver goods in spades and seems fun to play. It also seems easily serviceable too.

I’m interested in that too

Is the Hermannsson another amp that you've outdid without actually trying it yourself? I don't know why you're wasting time with this high gain shit. You could make a fortune on making a better Dumble than Dumble

You know, I have to wonder of the die hard Dumble generation is starting to age out of the amp game a bit. I’m seeing a lot of the big money boutique amps shifting towards higher and tighter more modern gain.

It’s spelled Hermannson.

He builds amazing amplifiers and I wish I could own one someday too. I only replied to Tiago’s comment that no one else builds amps that shake cameras.

I was making a different point but I get yours as well. I think Dumble clones will still sell for some time to come because if TGP has taught me anything, it's that even if you're too old to play, it doesn't mean you're too old to buy.

There you go again. Tiago did not say these are the only amps that shake cameras. Besides, it's kind of a silly metric anyway
