It's almost 2025, who's using Diezel?

Huge Diezel fan here. I’ve owned the VH4, Einstein, Hagen, and D-Moll so far. All stellar amps for my preferences, top of the pile IMO (and I’ve owned something like 70 amps at this point). I’m gunning for a VHX or Herbert next. My gut tells me Herbert is the one, but I’m really interested in the flexibility and programmability of the VHX.

I was considering a VH4, but this thread brought up several other models, so I started to look at other Diezel models, and the VHX says it can cover them all...guessing similar to a JVM as I said. If I'm getting one, the VHX looked like a good choice, not many vids though, and not much discussion here compared to other models, and I found one mint at a good price.

Cheers!

Now educate me, what particularly is happening in these pictures?

I have a friend that runs a VH4 together with a JVM410. He sets the 4 channels on each 1 - 4 as clean, crunchy, heavy rhythm and lead / over the top gain. I was in the room once at their rehearsal space and it sounded INSANE. That VH4 blended perfectly with that Marshall JVM. Particularly Chan 3 VH4 blended with OD1 Orange mode for rhythms. Made me want to run out and get a JVM410.

The Lichtlaerm Audio Prometheus is my new top 1 but I still love my Herbert mk1 & mk2 as well has my VH4, D-Moll and Hagen. Diezel rules

Love my VH4 and VHX.
Want a Herbert MK3 and a Hagen.

I play my Diezels weekly
Met Peter Stapfer at NAMM last year.
Can't wait to see what they do next

I can't give redplate enough praise for helping me with the NFB mod

This really opens up the VH4.
Clarity, fullness all staying tight.
Mids are much more useful.

Killer mod
Interesting...Did you make it adjustable, or set it to a fixed adjustment?

agreed. the difference is amazing.

Next time I get a Diezel in I’ll make a tutorial on how to do the mod. I’ve already had a few RT guys hit me up for help with it. It’s a really worthwhile mod and a huge bang for the buck, so to speak.

You've got the ear man, your Hellion is so much fun, I haven't even explored all the settings yet, and I've found a bunch I love already.
