Marshall will launch a modded line of amps?

My first Tube-Amp was a 100 Watt SLP-Clone. The first Amp i bought myself was a 1991 (or 92) SLP MK2 Reissue.I bought it in 1992. I used to use Channels 1+2 bridged with a Boss DS1 in Front of it. I also had a new 1991 Ibanez RG770 in red.
My first Marshall was a 1979 JMP MK II 2204 Master Lead i bought at my local shop for $375 90 days same as cash.

I bought a MINT 2205 in 1998 for $400. It was one of the later ones that had more gain. Amazing amp. It was bone stock, but sounded like what a lot of mods try to achieve. Had to sell it. I hope someone's taking good care of it.

I paid 1000 D-Mark for the new SLP in the Shop. Must have been around 3 to 400 Dollars back then. :D

Wait I missed the explanation, where is it?! I love hearing these things lol

Damn for some reason I was hoping it would involve one or more members of 311 playing a Splawn even though I now understand the amp in the avatar is not a Splawn lol

no joke...how fuckin funny would it be if the line of modded products is:

Modded Marshall Amps...available in all flavors

1. "Cameron Mod"
2. "Friedman Mod"
3. "Wizard Mod"

lol because truth is stranger than fiction
I know that one of them is going to be the signature model of Ed Kowalczyk, the guitarist and singer from the 90s band Live. Apparently the massive guitar tones on the album were Marshall’s modded by Ed. He modded his Marshall and his guitar players. All the stellar playing on the album was Ed and he took 90s rock to a whole new level. He also modded amps for weezer,
Soundgarden, hootie, blink 182 and third eye blind. All epic tonez. Listen to the tone in I Alone, a true 90s banger! The guy was straight up, egregiously balding due to severe male pattern baldness so he just grew an epic tail that he dared braid, coming out the back of his head! Mind blowing! When I see him and hear his tones, I think to myself, “damn, THIS IS THE GUY! This is who I want modding my amp,” and apparently Marshall saw that he harnesses golden ears and knows tonez.

Look!!! Just look at him! Guy delves deep into the realm of the stage 10 master!

Not only is Marshall at least 10 years too late with this, but they manage to fuck it up by releasing a signature amp for some no name retard that was last known in the 90s.

Who the hell runs these companies nowadays?

This is what happens when young, clueless interns are tasked with researching “that famous guitarist named Ed something or other with a strongly European sounding last name” for their bosses at Marshall.

Lol that is what I was going to say. These companies release shit way too late. Kramer recently released the Snake Sabo Signature guitar. Walk up to anyone under age 50 and ask them who Snake Sabo is. Guaranteed they will think it is a character from Game of Thrones....

It has to be because just like @Bloodrock said, they're run by stock analysts larping as rockstars @ TGP.

A 2203 with a built-in SD-1 would be the best sounding amp they could make.

please tell me that's a joke. I gave my future wife and mother of my children that CD for Christmas one year, and almost broke up. Fu Live.
