At this point it has to be asked if Mesa/Gibson is trying to control how this thing is being demo’d with the settings. I find it hard to believe that’s how Kyle or Fluff would have dialed that in.

Exactly. They both have or have had Mark amps and have put out immensely better demos than this crap.

Yep, a highly controlled presser with everybody smiling and playing nice, only Dinesh allowed to dial the sounds, and with an almost-flat GEQ, Bass knob never set lower than 4, gain knobs never set higher than 6.
Be patient, brochachos. Somebody is going to do this thing justice eventually.

I think one of the main problems is that all the demos are being done with low gain PUPs.

There used to be these things called sole proprietor stores and they would stock a decent variety of these things called amps. Actual 50 and 100 watt, glass bottled things, with this weird anomaly called a 4x12 speaker cabinet. More so if near a decent sized city. But we’re talking back in the days of Sanskrit.

Even with the MV I had, it was always hard to get a heavy sound that matched the greatness of the huge Clean sound you could get..

That sounds awesome. Is it too much to ask for them to even make an amp that good again let alone a iic+ or Rev C?
