I generally stop by looking for gear but today just to read and post.

I’m not totally sure. A lot of shit went down with long time members around the time Brian stepped down from running the site. Petey was having some health problems a while back but last I knew he was on the up and up

Same here, but I wasn't banned, this time.
Im tired of their childish reprimands and rules.
you cant be an adult on that site. its like stepping on eggs with every post
I found this place yesterday by accident just googling for gear.
found many old TGP friends. so i instantly signed up

and we can talk politics and have freedom to discuss.......lol

plexi, tweed, transparent od, which transparent overdrive, which delay, how to make my clean pedal platform a plexi, my suhr is blah blah blah, gibson qc, fender qc, prs qc.

I got a warning a week or so ago for something I added, Im usually goofy and not mean.
Anyways, had to click that green button that says "I Understand" and that put me over the edge.
I clicked it, got back on but was angry ever since.

Sent Scott Peterson an email, told him what I thought and wanted my membership money back. I had recently reupped my membership to use the Emporium but like I said about that, five pages deep...

Scott Peterson put in for my membership money return and handed me a Ban for Rules Violation.

My buddy told me about this place yesterday after I told him of my ban.
He told me he only gets on TGP to read my comments, haha.

Funny some moron can say something stupid, call them out on it, and somehow they can report you. Because of you disagreeing with what they think is right, you can't correct anyone no matter how much experience you have.

I think TGP will eventually go bye bye as did the FDP. (fender discussion page)
Mr Greene ruled with an iron fist, even worse than Scott and company and pissed off a lot of people
we all left one by one by choice or not. I left on my own.
the site died within 2 years

Lots of those accounts (that use that tactic) are sock puppet accounts run by the management.
