I want to get the Bogner Red Pedal. I also have 5 True Fire courses (2023 Christmas present) which I still havent touched.

So, do you post using some sort of electro-telepathy?
Apparently in our country level of technology evolved to a place where we have these small handheld thingies we call smartphones. I use one of those 😂

Moreover, with a Jam+ interface I can even practice through this thing hehe

I think this year I'm going to concentrate on playing better/more. I've really lost touch with that aspect of my life. I've got some stuff for sale locally, but I'm not in a hurry to get rid of it. If it sells, fine. If it doesn't, well then that's alright too. I don't really see myself buying much in 2025 though. I've got my eye on a couple of things that have been on the radar, but I have bigger fish to fry at the moment. Of course, targets of opportunity are always on the table.

If possible I'd like to recone my EVM 12S speakers, ship 'em to my new residence, and DIY some massively oversized ported 1x12's for 'em. I have a PZM on it's way to me right now, depending on how that works I may see about picking up another later for a stereo pair. Aside from that, just DIY amp mods 'n stuff.
So the PZM works great, recordings sound almost exactly like it does in the room. While I do want a stereo pair, unless a golden opportunity comes up I think I'll focus on improving other elements of the rig first (re-coning, etc.) since those will now have the biggest effect. Mono awesome is better than stereo crap.

Then trade it in a month later to Guitar Center for 20% worth it's value because "muh time is worth more tuhh me than worryin' about selling this guitar"
Hey man, that's more time to play another "GC rental".

I don't need anything really.. 20 years ago it was like if I had this or that.. Now that it's here I'm like whatever.. LOL

I wish Schecter would make a 7-string shredder with a HSS.. I long for real Single Coil Neck Tones..

Have you checked out the Sunset 7 triad? It's an HS, though. Well, it has a triple coil bridge pickup, but still a single neck 🤷‍♀️

I thought of the same model, but couldn't find it by browsing through their 7 strings on their website. A web search found it though after you confirmed I wasn't hallucinating the 7-string version.

@midnightlaundry here's a link for convenience: https://www.schecterguitars.com/Sunset-7-Triad

'Seen that turd.. I don't want to reinvent the wheel with that thing.. :ROFLMAO:
I like the pickup selector in a Fender spot instead of needing to reach for it..
They make some nice affordable stuff tho..

Anyone have experience with the recent Fender branded tele/strat vintage style RI cases? Trying to determine if they would close okay with a floyd and nut (Charvel So Cal) The reviews are lackluster, but I've found one I really like.

I had a really nice fender hardshell case for a fender select. I don’t recommend them - the padding was very lack luster and beyond tan pants storing your guitar in your closet to be forever forgotten, they would suck ass actually protecting a guitar. Grab an SKB flight case.

It's a head vs heart decision. Joe Strummer case.

I don't gig so not super concerned about protection during travel, but if it's construction/quality is no better than a $60 Amazon brand case I'll pass. There's also a company called AE that makes some cool cases that I like, but they went from $80 cases to $150+ shipping cases over the past couple of years. Pretty sure they're about amazon quality, too. Unless someone here has one and cares to chime in.

It looked just like that. Heavy as hell with weak ass hinges and shit padding. I remember the padding also messing with my tuners. Suggest just getting a well padded gig bag as it would do more.
