Proof the Earth is round

You're the one calling it screaming. However you do need to tell people what the Bible says. It has truths that need to be heard. God maybe a God of love but you also need to fear God.
I have watched MANY street preachers on youtube and yeah, most of them are shouting and very accusatory and confrontational. Plus they all have heretical protestant theology so it's the blind leading the blind out there.

I think you do Christianity a great disservice by implying Flat Earth conspiracies and Christianity are somehow linked. You do not have to believe in a flat earth to be a Christian. All you do is make Christians look like irrational idiots when in fact most Christians do not believe in flat earths.
Christianity is a "Conspiracy theory" of sorts. You think it fits nicely in with the modern secular worldview, just "plus God", but it doesn't. You believe very out there ideas when compared to those of the contemporary world. And as a Christian you're charged with being in the world, but not of it. You strike me as quite comfortable with the ways and ideas of this world.

If not for being shown a model of our solar system, and relying solely on your telescope and other senses, do you think you would arrive at the same conclusion with the same degree of confidence?
You make good arguments @acceptance. The answer to your question is...yes.

I trust the thousands of observations made going back to Aristotle (google says 384-822 B.C.). If someone gave me concrete evidence that the earth was flat I guess I'd look at it but the evidence otherwise is overwhelming. Just watching Jupiter's moons circle around is enough for me practically. :dunno:

If all the governments of the world (including Russian and China) were trying to trick 8 billion people then why would they spend so much time and money sending probes, satellites, spaceships, humans, and telescope up into space/the heavens?

And if they were, then why? What would be gained?

And if something were to be gained, at what cost? Was all the fakery really worth it. How do you get that many people in cahoots? Most of these thousands of people that are 'in on it' don't even know each other and don't speak the same languages.

Why do you believe the USA exists and not space.
The USA is a landmass with a government. Space is a made up word from a fiction story later used to describe the heavens by secular-atheist types.

By your logic - I've never been the USA. I don't believe in it.

Did you watch the green screen vids that show the obvious fakery on the ISS?
I just did. Not real convincing if you ask me. There must be something better than those?

And in full transparency, even if they did or had to from time to time - that doesn't necessarily mean that every other single video out there is green screened (in addition to all the photos being faked).

Again, not trying to convince you two to believe otherwise. Keep on believing. It makes amazing conversation

The etymology of the word space in the context of the vacuum/void between celestial bodies etc is only a word. Pick another word then but "the heavens" as a catch all doesn't cut it because it's too broad as previously discussed. We can use precise language and pick a word in our language to mean something to distinguish it from other things.

What wasn't convincing about them? One of them showed an actual astronaut faking floating objects in front of a green screen while some guy in a green spandex suit made it look like they were floating.

If someone is a known liar, the only way to suss out the truth is to begin assuming all they have presented to you is a lie.

I didn't say I believe that - I said "by your logic".
The church fathers warn against trusting in out own intellectual ability. Miracles exist outside human logic, which would say miracles are impossible. The gospel itself defies logic.

If "the heavens" was good enough for the saints who wrote the bible, it is more than good enough for me.

The saints who wrote the Bible didn't know about any number of things in the modern world. Language evolves.

Better stop playing electric guitar. It uses electricity and works using electromagnetism. Did your saints know about those things 2000 years ago? I think not.

Actually science laws show that things devolve from their initial point of creation/appearance. The saints didn't care about any of that irrelevant stuff. They would quickly see through fradulent "space" claims made by lying ex nazis and their supporters, which is exactly what NASA is. The very core of rocket tech is sprung from occultic minds.

You've never heard of a Baghdad battery before?

@VonBonfire - yeah I saw Karen with the greenscreen trick. So what? I'm not saying that nothing ever gets greenscreened or faked. I'm sure it does. But if you sat down with Karen at lunch, I'm sure she would fill your brain with amazing stories about her adventures in outerspace.

It's worldly music, just like Chet Atkins and any other secular music. Does being secular make it evil? Anything using a tritone falls into "devil's music" category per older times. I don't see it as an end all, it's just where my interest was/is and how I make most of what little money I make.

Show me in the bible where it says certain genres are inherently evil. That's called legalism, and is another reason I ditched protestantism. It's more of an outer lifestyle than an inner one. I have looked into the claims of "evil" polyrhythms as well, more legalism.

If you want to go to the core of this.....african rhythms. In the African mind there are evil drummers who have an evil beat and there are good drummers who have a good beat. The grateful dead drummer wrote a book on the subject, claiming he could induce people to do crazy stuff all through manipulation of the beat. He also probably took too many drugs so I don't put a lot of weight into what he ways, but I do find it an interesting topic.
