Weren't you the one telling von he had to prove Mary with sinless because it's not in the Bible? You guys will just make up whatever argument is convenient at the time.
Already provided you with biblical proof of the text.
try again. I know, reading is hard.

Obviously the bible isn't a scientific textbook. And it wouldn't matter if you thought it was a true account or a collection of stories. A 5 second search shows the bible is filled with modern day scientific concepts. Check the link above for details. Some examples are an expanding universe, the water cycle, air currents/jet stream/weather patterns, ocean currents, & ocean floor topography to name a few.

So unless you think the bible is a modern day hoax to hide flat earth from the masses it's more than feasible and highly likely biblical authors knew the earth was a sphere. I don't have a link to the thing I came across earlier, but it suggested that in some of the passages in the Gospel of Luke alluded to Jesus knowing the earth was a sphere.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here. Sure, you could read into it that a rotating ball is compatible with the Bible, but IMO the plainest reading doesn't support that. I agree with Hampden that it is strange that the Bible would not include something so central about the nature of our world. It's a glaring commission. As you mentioned there are all kinds of allusions to nature — one would think the idea that we are spinning around on a ball might be worthy of note. It's not the first thought that would cross anyone's mind, as it is absurd. One has to be indoctrinated with the idea believe it. But who knows, maybe God created an absurd world.

anyone who thinks the earth isn't a sphere is a complete and total idiot.
Truly the peak of Mt. Stupidity.

I like how you schooled him with his own legacy bible and now he's in denial of that and you're somehow the idiot.

what fascinates me @VonBonfire is how a self claimed "Christian" best buddy is a "luciferian".
very telling. explains a lot.

show us where he "schooled me with my Legacy Bible" again?

I'm getting at that the bible coincides with modern day science. So why would it not do the same with globe earth as seen in the passage of Isaiah and Job?

It was understood that the earth was a sphere all the way back to Greek times in 3rd century BC. The size was even calculated pretty accurately at that time. In the 1500's Magellan provided some of the first practical evidence of a sphere by he; & his crew finishing the journey to circumnavigate the globe.

It was already established the earth was a globe with a host of evidence since ancient times. So answer this. When did all the world leaders decide to start the big coverup of flat earth and fake globe earth? Are you suggesting it has been a coverup dating all the way back to 300 BC?

@VonBonfire @acceptance can we all come over and see your pet unicorns?
