Unless he wants to repent and if he wants to be a satanist - he will twist everything like his master. A very dangerous individual.
yea but satan is crafty, this one.....not so much.

us - "there was no cows in the field"
him - "that's just your interpretation", "it doesn't say there are no cows"

rotflolllllllll

Are you aware that other Christians hold a different view than you?
Of course we are.

In my case I looked at nearly every denomination's beliefs broadly speaking. We are told to ask, seek and knock. We need to figure it out and what is the truth.

@acceptance it's kind of sad really, I've debated thousands of people like you before and you are by far the most ignorant with regard to the bible.
just completely unaware. You should stop man. It's just painful to watch.

but you're not a Christian so why are you representing them?
I'm not representing them, I'm pointing out that other believers hold a different view that contrasts with yours, but you think yours is authoritative, as is the case with every interpretation of scripture that we've gone over. Let me ask you a question... Are you wrong about any interpretation of scripture?

.... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: j/k that was rhetorical. ...You are the infallible Christian!

Well it's funny he can work out we are Calvinsts from what we said. Most people couldn't work that out. Clearly he knows something. Even the Devil knows God's word. Remember that. He needs to stop twisting the word of God and come to repentance.

the bottom line is and I truly believe you have to know this is - if we could lose our salvation, every one of us would lose it every day.
It seems like the version of "saved" you hold to and the version I am holding to are slightly different. People walk away from the faith all the time. You'd say "well it's cause they were never in Christ" but at the same time, since we believe it is a lifelong walk, a struggle of repentance and prayer, that at any time someone may make a conscious decision that "would like to but can't" and so lose their salvation. "Salvation" is kind of a future event, not a past tense one, because we will be judged and then be in heaven with the Lord i.e "saved" from death and hell. We are baptized and then work towards becoming Christ like in our daily walk. I have watched people fall from that path because it is exceedingly difficult. "To those who are given more, more will be required". Does that make sense?

NONE OF THIS WAS INTERPRETATION

geez man. When the Bible says "they were in the town of Jerusalem" that is not up for interpretation.
I just cannot get to your level of intellectual gymnastics man, I'm sorry.

Salvation is a now event not a future event. You need to run the race and persist but that merely shows you were in Christ and were saved. Baptism in and of itself does not guarantee salvation. It's an act of obedience and submission and a public profession of faith. I'm going to disagree with some reformed churches here a bit because I believe in "believer's Baptism" rather than infant Baptism as something that is meaningful. However either way it's not what gets you saved. So to me it's not actually a completely central issue.

It does make sense brother, but I respectfully don't feel it's the most accurate delineation of scripture.
My View / Calvinist View / Reformed view is to trust Jesus to know He did not die in vain for those He purchased.

Christ, tell us openly.” 25Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these bear witness of Me. 26But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. 27My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish—ever; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29

Amen to that.

I too believe in "believers baptism"
I'm a credo Baptist, not a paedo Baptist because nowhere in scripture was a single baby baptized.

@VonBonfire what is the orthodox position - credo or paedo?

I didn't think there were any other views! 😲
There are lots of views on lots of things.

The important thing is to understand the central issues and get them right. Some peripheral things that aren't central to salvation are nice to try and understand but we will find out in heaven.

I still think you seriously need to come to Christ mate because you literally scare me.
