Christ, tell us openly.” 25Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these bear witness of Me. 26But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. 27My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish—ever; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29
So what do you make of this scripture? He was considered a servant and ultimately was cast into the outer darkness because instead of using what he was given he buried it. I parsed it so it wouldn't take up the whole page....

The Parable of the Talents
(Luke 19:11–27)

14For it is just like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted them with his possessions. 15To one he gave five talents,b to another two talents, and to another one talent—each according to his own ability. And he went on his journey.

.........30And throw that worthless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Do you understand the meaning of the word debate? I figure they'd teach that in "Theology" school.
If you were smart you wouldn't be debating to troll you would be listening, learning and feeling sorry for your sinfulness and coming to repentance.

I have to do a lot of internal house painting today so I have to go. It's a huge job and a lot of preparation. You need to turn around your life.

I think you guys are confusing yourselves plenty as it is. I like to debate US politics, but I don't believe in that either.
I haven't been shaken in the slightest by anything said here. I am just a little sad people don't read their Bibles properly. The message isn't that hard to interpret.

I am already familiar with all this stuff and I have a different take. I don't need to turn my life around to follow Yahweh because I don't like him. Jesus I like better, but I think he is mostly or entirely made up. I still think he's alright though. A good number of his followers are total blowhards, however.

@VonBonfire what is the orthodox position - credo or paedo?
It's a sacrament so we bapitize infants. The early church baptized infants. If we expected christians to have deep theological understanding before being baptized or receiving communion then most would never receive the sacraments. It's really not any different than taking your infant to church even though it won't understand anything happening there.

not sure if its flat or not and honestly i don't care, but im pretty sure is way bigger from what they tell
