that's not a real answer. To learn about exegesis of course.
To debate the Bible, flat earth, etc. Shoot the shit, etc. Why are you here? Why are you here?
If you are really serious about it. Read the Canons of Dort. It's a brilliant summary of Reformed theology backed up by scripture. To learn about exegesis of course.
why do you debate something you don't believe in?To debate the Bible, flat earth, etc. Shoot the shit, etc. Why are you here?
So what do you make of this scripture? He was considered a servant and ultimately was cast into the outer darkness because instead of using what he was given he buried it. I parsed it so it wouldn't take up the whole page....Christ, tell us openly.” 25Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these bear witness of Me. 26But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. 27My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish—ever; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29
Do you understand the meaning of the word debate? I figure they'd teach that in "Theology" school.why do you debate something you don't believe in?
explain that to me?
Satanism - reap confusion, lead people astray, deceive.why do you debate something you don't believe in?
explain that to me?
I think you guys are confusing yourselves plenty as it is. I like to debate US politics, but I don't believe in that either.Satanism - reap confusion, lead people astray, deceive.
If you were smart you wouldn't be debating to troll you would be listening, learning and feeling sorry for your sinfulness and coming to repentance.Do you understand the meaning of the word debate? I figure they'd teach that in "Theology" school.
I haven't been shaken in the slightest by anything said here. I am just a little sad people don't read their Bibles properly. The message isn't that hard to interpret.I think you guys are confusing yourselves plenty as it is. I like to debate US politics, but I don't believe in that either.
am confused, the Parable of the Talents is Matthew 25?So what do you make of this scripture? He was considered a servant and ultimately was cast into the outer darkness because instead of using what he was given he buried it. I parsed it so it wouldn't take up the whole page....
The Parable of the Talents
(Luke 19:11–27)
14For it is just like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted them with his possessions. 15To one he gave five talents,b to another two talents, and to another one talent—each according to his own ability. And he went on his journey.
.........30And throw that worthless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
I am already familiar with all this stuff and I have a different take. I don't need to turn my life around to follow Yahweh because I don't like him. Jesus I like better, but I think he is mostly or entirely made up. I still think he's alright though. A good number of his followers are total blowhards, however. If you were smart you wouldn't be debating to troll you would be listening, learning and feeling sorry for your sinfulness and coming to repentance.
I have to do a lot of internal house painting today so I have to go. It's a huge job and a lot of preparation. You need to turn around your life.
yea he's a troll. nothing more.If you were smart you wouldn't be debating to troll you would be listening, learning and feeling sorry for your sinfulness and coming to repentance.

Not a sensible statement - same God.I don't need to turn my life around to follow Yahweh because I don't like him. Jesus I like better, but I think he is mostly or entirely made up.
It's a sacrament so we bapitize infants. The early church baptized infants. If we expected christians to have deep theological understanding before being baptized or receiving communion then most would never receive the sacraments. It's really not any different than taking your infant to church even though it won't understand anything happening there.@VonBonfire what is the orthodox position - credo or paedo?
Yeah not sure how that got messed up. Correct, Matthew 25.am confused, the Parable of the Talents is Matthew 25?
Just wondering where you draw this idea from.Jesus I like better, but I think he is mostly or entirely made up.
