Just got a warning for using the word, gipped.
Seems someone took offense to it and said it was derogatory
Where I come from we've used it since grade school to infer someone got beat, robbed or short changed.
That's all I was saying when someone posted in my GC trade in thread.

This is where regions are weird in the US. Was used by everyone and their mother back in New England up till
at least when we moved back in 1997. Spent some months in Tempe, AZ before ending up in SoCal and the people didn't
know/use the word in either region - except for recent transplants like us.
