Well All My Gear Maybe Destroyed...

I'm down in SD, been watching this closely all day, my heart goes out to all those affected.
I hope your house and gear is spared, if not, I have a few things to get you started.
Be safe my friend.

Damn that’s tough, really sucks. Heart wrenching night on pins and needles, hopefully there’s good news at the end of it.

Dude, so sorry to hear about this man. I don't want this to sound trivial but I'm glad to hear you are safe and alive. Take one day at a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time. You will get thru this and I'm sorry you have to go thru this.
Thanks so much brother...

Glad you’re safe. I’m up in NorCal, and we’ve had a ton of rain all winter. Has it been dry down there?
We’ve had virtually no rain this year. The winds are insane right now. Transformers blowing left and right. Power is out.

It’s the absolute worst conditions for a fire. No way to control it. No air support with these winds, either. There are evacuations near Pasadena as well I hear. Multiple fires.

Wow. Best of luck bro. Like @Erock said you can't replace your life. :dunno:

This sucks though. Is there an app or anything available that shows the damaged areas? I guess this thing moves so fast ain't nobody got time for that.

My thoughts are with you and your gear. I'm actually headed to SD in a few days and then up to North Hills, CA so not too far from there.

holy shite, I hope we aren't sending prayers and condolences to any members in the next few days. This sucks. :(

the state and feds better help the people affected, this is their time to shine and gain "some" of America's trust back.

That's brutal and I know well the sinking feeling when it's windy and dry here in TX and you see a smoke plume down the hill accompanied by sirens wailing. Pretty much why I don't collect gear I can't chuck in my rig and boogie with in 15 minutes. Def added to the prayer list tonight angelspade. Good luck bro.

Well if you do lose your house, I hope your homeowners insurance covers your 68 Plexi, Mark IIc+, and those two 1959 Les Pauls you had...

I live in the heart of Pacific Palisades, CA and half the town is on fire as I write this. Most of all my favorite guitars were left under an emergency evacuation (I couldn't get to my home before the fire department shut down the area). I suspect I won't know if my house burned down until tomorrow. I'm safe in a hotel in the South Bay, grateful to be alive...Sometimes you just have to live in acceptance I guess.

I'm glad your family is safe!! We were evac'd last September when that big fire hit the San Bernardino mountains. Not knowing if your home is still standing is an awful thing, and we've dealt with that twice in the last twenty years. Praying for a good outcome.

Really heartbreaking to hear Pacific Palisades is burning, I was on the beach over there a year ago, it's such a beautiful place. Best of luck to you ! I really hope your home and especially your gear will be safe... I can't imagine losing all the gear I accumulated during the last 30 years...

My view this morning:

It's a few miles out, but homes have been lost near Eaton Canyon...

My wife works at city of Hope in Duarte. They are running on emergency generators at present...
