Right??? Every photo I see of LA damage invokes immense sadness for those affected followed by an immense jealousy of the photo owner for how badass of an album cover it would make.

Hey man, I am really sorry to hear that you may have lost all your gear, I couldn't imagine that but also could you possibly lose your home from the fire?

We've got high winds out here in the Inland Empire. Power is down and could be down for around 72 hours. Neighbor has a generator and he's letting me use his Wi-Fi.

I wanted to provide you all with a quick update. I have confirmation that my home was essentially UNTOUCHED by the fires. Most (see orange color coding below) of the surrounding neighborhoods are completely destroyed. I'm incredibly grateful to all of you that provided thoughts, prayers, wishes and words of support. THANK YOU.

I'm glad your house was spared man. If you hear of neighbors and people in need, let us know. I remember years ago when we all pulled together to send flowers for a funeral for one of our brothers here. It could happen to anyone whether floods, fire, tornadoes, etc.

I know of four friends who have lost their homes, in particular Terry Kilgore aka Tube Tramp aka Sarge...his home burned to the ground. It's sad, but it is what it is. Gavin Newscum didn't sign a water reclamation act a few months back to divert the rain water and snow melt to reservoirs, etc so that the fire hydrants would work in the LA area. Tough situation for the LA locals.
