I don't spend much time here but it's a sad day when one person can have this kind of effect.

The eBay auction listed "As Is" is funny and sad. It's never going to bring much money 'as is' without at least one change in the member roster. On the other hand, someone can pick it up cheap and then excise the problem.

The only silver lining I see in this is that a new owner, who is unconnected with the drama, can take the place to the next level.

He posts something the equivalent of smoking a cigarette in a smoke-free bar. After that, everyone starts pouring gasoline, and building it more and more, with people that have a LONG memory, and have a very hard time letting things go. Eventually you get something like this.

If you flat out ignore the cigarette...it'll burn out within 2 minutes, and life goes on. Sure, it stunk up the place, but, at the end of the day, it don't matta.

He's not an ordinary troll. Ignoring him doesn't work. Those who have "known" him long enough know that. I think he has some serious issues. This guy actually went after people's livelyhood. Disagreements on the net are one thing but when you fuck with someone like that, it's crossing the line. And we've seen him severely cross the line of decency. I'm a bleeding heart but even I don't think this guy can change.

While true, if no one gave him attention, he'd give it up. Think "solitary confinement" and you get where I'm going with this.
