This was a pretty cool forum and still can be if everybody would just take 5 and take a deep breathe and just let this shit go. Maybe come back in a week or something. I've seen some shit get like this on other forums but this is pretty frickin bad. I think that anybody who slams people repeatedly and uses really graphic profanity to slam them or overreact repeatedly should be banned. Hypothetically, if this was my forum, that would be my policy.

my take on this....anytime personal attacks are allowed to be posted without moderation....this is what eventually is fated to happen......I know folks don't like moderation around here, but if a forum allows personal attacks it is doomed to this sort of meltdown......

Chris, fucking grow a set and permaban Carl. He's clearly the source of many troubles on this forum, and it's clear RT went straight down the shitter after you let him back on. (Don't know what I'm talking about? Read the preceeding thread post!!)

For the past couple of years, I've been more of a lurker than a contributor here, but if this is the direction YOU want this forum to go in, then seriously? I don't need to waste MY time reading Carl's poison prose/verbal diarrhea ad naseum. :bleh:

It doesn't take "super secret covert PMs from Ralphie" for forum members to ascertain their time is better spent elsewhere.

He's not an ordinary troll. Ignoring him doesn't work. Those who have "known" him long enough know that. I think he has some serious issues. This guy actually went after people's livelyhood. Disagreements on the net are one thing but when you fuck with someone like that, it's crossing the line. And we've seen him severely cross the line of decency. I'm a bleeding heart but even I don't think this guy can change.

I agree with you to a point..but you know what? Even when he was banned, every so often a thread would pop up from people still posting here about what carl said on the gear page, or a clip he posted on another page or this or that...seems like even when he WASN'T around, he was still getting brought up in here from time to time...

Nothing good has ever come from having Carl in a forum. Ever. Just an observation. I've got no bone in this fight except that I'll be disappointed to see this place go if it does.

The only silver lining I see in this is that a new owner, who is unconnected with the drama, can take the place to the next level.
