I see it the way Steve sees it. To me it's really simple, it's Bob's and Chris' house, their rules. The place is getting a fork stuck in it BECAUSE of the drama of today. No one can ever just leave a fuckig forum without a grand exit. I view Kage and Ralph as friends, but I do think that they were the final straw for Bob and Chris. I get why, and that is whole other story. But yeah, you don't dig their rules don't come to their house. You hang here and dislike some one that has been let back on. 3 viable options, try to get along, ignore, leave...the fucking mass PM I'm leaving shit...oh fuck it...not worth me getting bend out of shape over. This is disappointing on numerous levels. But fuck me, I would have tossed the place on ebay after the nonsense today as well.

Now, there aren't a whole lot of forums I think are worth hanging, this was one of them. And IT IS too bad what happened.
I've been thinking recently that spending as much time on line as we all do might really be a bad idea. Hell, I'll go find myself a porn forum now...

You know there are folks here that made it into my list of people that got me to the point where at one point wanted nothing more than a real physical confrontation at one point, but these days no matter how much resentment I still harbor I try to be civil to them. Because in the end it really is nothing more than words from behind a screen.

I'm hoping you'll continue to post here, Ed. Your contributions are very much appreciated by myself and many others... Let's see how it plays with the new owner before moving on... Whaddaya say?

Agreed, let me clarify...and this is just how I view it as related to me, and I completely understand others not seeing it the same.
When some one gives me shit, whether this is face to face, on-line whatever and it bugs me-and i have been there many times, many times with Carl as a matter of fact, but really it's more on me then on the person pissing me off. The fact is: Certain things are either endorsed or they're not, and Carl's douchebaggery was apparently endorsed by the Powers that be, and not acceptable by several in the community. It seems that there are many who feel continued exposure to Carl's BS, was tolerable and should be tolerated by others--in the form of ignoring his disruptive presence.

Carl and his ridiculous antics, IMO-- is not someone who should be tolerated by anyone, EVER... It only fosters others mimicing his nonsense.

Then there are those who take the opposite approach, unleashing parts of their personalities that they could only get away with online. The internet is considered a different, separate reality to those people.

I disagree (sorry , I try to be respectful about it at least) . . There are 2 sides to every issue.. On some issues there are more than 2 sides, i.e. 3 dimensional issues .. (ok bad attempt at humor, but I'm actually being very serious simultaneously) .. I don't support any of the crap that went on here, BUT at the same time , I support a certain choice the moderator made , and I'm not the only one... I don't live my life with that kind of stupid bickering at all , and don't support it.. BUT I come to this forum for guitar/amp discussions..> Those discussions are different here than at the Diner, HC, TGP ,etc.. They each have their own dynamic. . THere's no friggin way 1, 2 , 3, or 5 people ruin a forum for me.. There's still plenty of others in the forum that are there for a similar reason I am. .
