This confuses me because it seems everyone has forgot why this forum was created.. Because we were tired of the ridiculous moderation at HCAF and we wanted to go back to the old school HCAF ways of self moderation... You know, where forum members (not just admins) have a voice!!!!

Now when an admin reinstates a member known for spewing hate and at least 70% of the forum doesnt want him back.... And when that particular admin admits he's letting him back to stir shit up... Thats losing sight of why this forum was created IMO.

And then putting it on ebay because you cant take the heat....

I find it odd that you'd choose to take a stand against me, yet NOT choose to take a stand FOR Ralph & Kage-- and AGAINST Carl.

I'm not defending Carl in any way, shape or form but...

There's a difference between allowing Carl's presence to put a little pep into the forum and purposely wanting him to go into full blown meltdown and causing major upheaval imo.

I realize that's a minority opinion but it's a real fine line and Carl did start off (like so many other times before admittedly) posting on topic before he was cornered and the dark beast came out once again.

Personally I don't mind either way, but I think there were some genuine good intentions with bringing him back. His dark side was forced out prematurely, yes it probably would have come out naturally at a later time but who knows how long he would have lasted.

By using the same logic, banning him in the first place was against the basic ideas that hte forum would self-moderate.

The problem stems more from people who have an OCD issue on having to one-up someone else, and can't let go of bullshit that someone typed out on the internet...and no, I'm not singling anyone out with that statement, we've all done it - we've all gotten hung up on trying to slam someone harder, and it just boils over.
