What's with all the modded Marshalls and "Jose" mods this year?

Can't wait for the Youtube compression mimicking, boost pedal. Instantly dial in your favorite Youtuber's tone with Youtube clone (tm) technology in full (highly diminished) Youtube fidelity! You already know what the pedal's graphics will look like...
Funnily enough, that may become a nostalgia trip for people who were kids now in 20 years. Depressing. Like I romantasise the 80s and analogue TV and VHS, etc.

Ha!! well im 42, have had two jobs since i was 16, never wanted kids so marriage was out of the question, i have my heard of 60s muscle cars, i can still pull in chicks in their mid 20's even with my bald ass dome and snow white beard, i got albums worth of panty dropping riffs im ready to record.. im gonna enjoy my 40s.
You totally ruined the frat boy image I had of you. I assumed you had thick brown hair and were a sort of golden boy figure. Then you posted the gasser. Only someone with insanely good taste and monster style rocks a gasser.

Glad I’m not alone rockin’ a modded Marshall and a fleet of old cars 🤣View attachment 383927
Nice cars but that eagle on the end brings back a lotta fond memories of cruising up to Kyburz pass in Tahoe with this dope dealing hippie tattoo dude I knew and going swimming in the river.

i got Comets and Falcons, these two are 64's, i have a 65 comet and a 61 falcon ive had for years and never finished like a typical car guy. the gasser is my baby right now though, actually just got a text today my motor being built is at the dyno ready to go for next week so thats exciting. what you have?

Cars and guitars, classic combo for sure. I don’t have anything past ‘78. 😎

Nice. The Eagle is my every day transportation! It’s unbeatable in the snow up here.

What happens if you’re only 50, still like the brown sound, have a bunch of amps in the basement, didn’t really want to learn eruption, never owned a vette - though you’re hip to another way of getting amplifiers so it doesn’t really matter if you buy another one?

I may grab some more of this in the next 24 hours if it dips at all and then withdraw mid week for a deposit on the waitlist 🤙🏽

There are creative ways to feed the gear habit

I have a couple friends that are big stock and trading guys, I’ve been listening to trading for beginners videos, maybe I am really in midlife crisis lol

Yep, I’m not brilliant, and it can be sort of like trading guitars, with less baggage from the other party.

Being not brilliant is one of the traits I’ve seen a couple guys say you don’t need to be, as thinking you know it all and being stubborn can lead to bad patterns, so it may be great for me lol

I think the 80s modded Marshall guys nailed the rock tone minus the chorus and other over the top effects

Various flavors of hot rodded Marshall pretty much cover everything worth playing

Well now this this thread has gone the way of 4-wheeled Money Pits... here is my LS9 powered '73 TA:

I love that so much and simultaneously hate you so much because I don’t have THAT….holy hell

You American car guys don’t know how good you have it. In Australia there are about 1/1000th the amount of old cars to choose from, and they are about 1000x more expensive.
