That's a lie though. I have 2 knives on me right now and I'm sitting in my kitchen.
Slicing the shit out of some low life block of cheese this morning eh?That's a lie though. I have 2 knives on me right now and I'm sitting in my kitchen.
No. I don't eat until around 2 or 3 usually. I'm just ridiculously paranoid. I have a flashlight in my pocket too.Slicing the shit out of some low life block of cheese this morning eh?
Prepared is not paranoid brother. I carry a switchblade to all my gigs. Probably not the best choice but it's not the best choice to mess with me at my work either.No. I don't eat until around 2 or 3 usually. I'm just ridiculously paranoid. I have a flashlight in my pocket too.
Yeah, it was tongue in cheek. I am not under any illusion that my life is in danger on my homestead. I have it pretty well sown up. I'll know you're there long before you get here. I just feel naked without a knife or two and a flashlight. Like you said in the other thread. Conditioning.Prepared is not paranoid brother. I carry a switchblade to all my gigs. Agreed on that. I always carry a couple bic's on me as well but not usually the flashlight. I generally have my man purse with me with some more necessities like a half gallon water jug, flashlight, and prayer book in case I break down and have a long walk home.Yeah, it was tongue in cheek. Without going excessively into detail, I have "Get home" bags in all my vehicles.Agreed on that. I always carry a couple bic's on me as well but not usually the flashlight. Yeah I carry one of those everywhere. It's a spec ops soldier optimized buttpack I bought on sale for 15 bucks in 2008. I used to have an INCH bag too but I just stopped giving a crap about it.Without going excessively into detail, I have "Get home" bags in all my vehicles.
I'm more of a reese's pieces guy.I like karambits.
I don't generally care for them, though my buddy showed me his new one yesterday and I liked it. I generally carry a fixed blade, gut hook hunting knife ( 6") and one or a pair of folders or autos. Currently a UTX-85 and a Mini Bugout.I like karambits.
The Kershaw launch series stuff looks killer. I actually started a knife thread in the hobbies section that wasn't much of a hit here.I don't generally care for them, though my buddy showed me his new one yesterday and I liked it. Yep. I try not to look to often because I can't afford most of them.Lots of great knives.

I have a a Condor desert romper I stitched up a leather scout carry arrangement to carry in the same manner because it's convenient to access while riding in a truck. It's my beater knife.I have a battle steel fixed that I carry horizontally right in the front on my belt.
My Campoline zero isn't high tech blade steel but the build quality on it is great. I want one of their bat swinguards but they are never available.Yeah they ain't cheap. I think the little Bugout was like $170. The steel is amazing though.
