Funny, as I can't imagine having a 4 and 6 yr old at this point in my life

But those are such fun ages. Still innocent kids but learning the ways of the world.
My oldest leaving was definitely a bit a reprieve because like his dad, he was a bit of rebel.
He ended up getting a 5yr Architecture Masters from KU and now in Denver so very proud dad I am.
My middle boy is relatively close to us. He is a Civil Engineer, and the most like me.
My youngest is the Youtuber and he lives in LA now. Just visited and left last night. Wife and I were so proud as he cleaned up his room and bathroom to the point you'd never know he was here. Very respectful and mindful. Love them all.
Lisa, back on topic, another idea is one of these surprise camping trips (I forget some of the company names) but you fill out some basic information and then you don't find out where you are going until the last minute. Our friends did it and loved it. It is on our bucketlist.
