If someone brings up politics in a professional environment I just tell them I've never voted and really don't care and I think that's too much for them to think about so they leave me alone, lol. Plus none of that is a lie.

My commercial appliance guy is super right wing. He likes to rant while he works so I get a lot of complaints, but I like him and he does good work so they have to deal with it lol. I do have to ask him to reign it in sometimes though.

But he’s not a sandy vagina like a lot of dudes here so he doesn’t get all bitchy when I disagree with him, so we can have actual conversations.

I'm willing to bet a lot of money you don't talk to him the way you talk to a lot of guys here either.

And I'm not saying they, myself included, don't invite some of it. My point is the real world is different than the internet. Which is why you don't "Know" anyone you've never met in real life.

I alluded to that very thing in my post Dan. The real world and the internet are two totally different and almost unrelated dimensions.

I told you once that in real life I am one of the most polite people you will meet. I wasn't lying. I rarely talk politics with people at all other than my wife. I have slipped up and let some of my feelings about religion pop out in front of Christians and had to walk it back a bit, but I rarely if ever overtly tip my hand politically speaking.

The only time I have ever had to turn down work was during Trumps term. I was too busy to get to everything, and there just wasn’t enough qualified techs to hire to be able to take on more. It started as soon as it was announced that he won. Now days I make a living, but there are entire weeks where the phone doesn’t ring. Went from 6 full time employees plus myself, to one employee and myself. If it all shuts down tomorrow I’m good. Been flipping the occasional Harley for fun and profit, as well as a few cars and trucks. When Trump wins I will go hard with the plumbing for 4 more years, then loading my Bikes into my trailer and living where ever I end up every day. Already have land in the middle of nowhere for a home base when I need one. If I have to start early because of cheating Dems, I can do that too. The sooner I can escape this idiocy the better. May even drive by Dans place, take a shit on his lawn and do a burn out in his driveway.
