I like it best with my Axiom PAE-1 Power Amp Emulator in the loop set to a saggy Marshall-ish power amp. It really livens it up.
Are were talking high gain only? I find the Mark Five significantly better than the Mark III. Better cleans, better gain, better versatility, way better reverb. Subjectivity aside, it’s verifiably less noisy.
Back to the MT100, yeah, the gain channels sound pretty lame.

I am hooking up a 4x4 de Lisle speaker switch and was wondering what size cable should I be using? I have this one way-too-long cable that's 12ga and that seems to be overkill. Is there a general rule that you follow for speaker cable?
