Apparently there's a supposed rumour of a C+ reissue

I think that’s entirely possible. His personal feelings about it mixed with environmental laws that have been passed around the manufacture of certain components mentioned before could be the main reasons.

No, it’s actually like the pyramids. They can’t figure out how the ancients even made them. Many believe aliens helped.

If you add up all the frequencies of the graphic eq, then times it by 2, you get the circumference of Mars. The c in 2c is the clue. Do you think humans could create tone like that? Wake up!

You better watch out that’s like half the people on this forum 😉 all joking aside it does crack me up to see dudes with 12 mark iic+ all stacked up probably getting 3 chords a year played through most of them. Tragedy

I had an early 80’s Mark II Combo, MK III, and a Quad Preamp. The thing I miss about those amps, that the MK V and MK VII didn’t have, was all the push/pull knobs. I think there was a Harmonics switch around the back.

Heard back from my SW guy this morning. Mesa said the reissue Rectos should be “coming out” after the new year. Jan-Feb likely.

No official date on the IIC+ yet. I’d expect spring or summer.

EDIT: That said, if you want one, get up your rep’s ass NOW. Tell him you want one and to charge your card the second he hears something. Get on an preorder list. Put down a deposit. Keep calling every 3 weeks for updates. Otherwise they’ll all be scooped up before release by collectors, flippers, and scalpers.
