Saying "paf-ish"

Arguing that digital gear will be collectible one day

Making too many FRFR threads

Stating that only Elixir strings are decent

Using the word "chewy" to describe anything but steak or a granola bar

Eating dinner anytime after 5:30

Claiming AxeFx is heavier than a Twin with JBL's

Posting sweet self built amps, but refusing to build one for others

Saying Reinhold Bogner isn't totally normal

Telling a mod that you have better tone/rig than they do

Pretending a functioning Quad Cortex is anything a musician would actually possess

Knowing what a mandibula is

Hating on smoke soaked gear

Having said stuff like "digital is so close" since 2001

Posting "TGP isn't that bad", even on TGP

Admitting to lowballing the shit out of reverb sellers

Confessing to other forum members that a "five watt tube amp totally buries my drummer"

Claiming others are only posting there for the $22.50 per month

Telling others that "15 watts is enough for any gig"

Making guitar forum sins threads

Now it's your turn......

And for anyone who thinks I'm too hard on digital stuff just know that just a day or two ago I finally warmed up to locking tuners for the first time since the 90's so eventually I might come around. Then again my grandfather died still hating electrified guitar so don't wait up for me.

The "15 watts is enough for any gig" people drive me absolutely insane

I want to kidnap them and force them to gig a smoky club or hole in the wall bar in a metal band with a drummer hitting rimshots at 200 bpm on a Gretsch phosphor bronze, Keplinger or DW Concrete with an AC15 or Princeton or whatever

Then I want to shit on their face for every time they posted or replied to a TGP thread saying "15 watts is enough for any gig"

"the ole back ain't what it used to be"

"the ole back ain't what it used to be"

Translated from boomer-ese that's generally "i'm fucking lazy and out of shape"

I know some people have injuries, and that's a different thing - generally in bands i've been in, the other members will help out carrying gear, and in that situation it makes more sense to have a smaller rig

But the vast majority of time it's sheer fucking laziness - same with weight weenies whining about how their les paul needs to be under 8 pounds
