Hey Steve, just go to one of his shows with your amp. He's been really kind of been up in the air with amps when I talked to him at the last 2 Winter NAMM shows. Suhr was trying to get him on board with amps. He loaned him a PT-50 for a show up the road last year. It had GG-50 on it : ) He's been using Badgers last I heard. He's easy to find at NAMM in Anaheim. He goes out and rolls a cigarette every few hours (or less) in the smoking area..out by the loading area...lol. I think he'd love your amp, from the video's I've seen since the Expo. He likes openess..not compressed amps. If that makes sense.

Good for Fender. Now if they can only steal Bonamassa from Gibson.
I always did dig JB's version of If Heartaches Were Nickels more with a strat.

+1000000

Sure would be great to see a nice JB sig Tele and Strat, the Ritchie Kotzen models look sharp but are not available in the US.

i would take a suhr over a charvel any day of the week but if charvel would just make better production models i would be happy. and yes the guitar needs a truss rod adjustment!

I owned a couple of gorgeous Suhr's and they are outstanding guitars.

But for my hands, the Charvel Custom Shops are a better fit. Of course everyone will have their own ideas, but I think for $900 the Charvel Pro Mods were as good as it gets. I really didn't feel like I was missing anything with the Charvel Pro Mods when I recorded these:

I'm sorry I post these videos all the time in response to "you can't play solos on a Splawn" comments or remarks from a forum guy about how the Pro Mods just aren't good enough for them.

So instead of reading a review of why these $900 USA charvels are not very good from a forum guy I have to hit a play button and watch you play? That vid only has 80,000 hits anyways, cant be very good.

The nerve..........................................

Curt, you know of a place that can sell me a s/s/h black guard that would fit my wildcard?

I know who helped design his new Charvel ;) .

John Suhr?

no. :)

John makes great guitars by the way. And amps/pedals/accessories. Suhr has grown to be one of the bigger players in the industry. That isn't luck.

Cool.

I liked the looks of the Suhrs better, but............it doesn't matter, Guthrie will tear it up either way.

Honestly all I care about is the upcoming live DVD from the Aristocrats.

Charvels, to me, define that FAT 80's Strat/ humbucker sound. From their cheaper models to the Custom Shop, they all seem to possess that centain "thing"
I had 2 Charvels in the early 80's that were killer.

I had a Suhr GG model, and a Modern. Awesome guitars but for whatever reason didn't (as do all Suhrs I've heard) have that phat quality I hear in Charvels.
