Apparently I ordered nothing, just got word they don't have the one they had in stock when I bought it! Oh well, I'd probably return it anyway.

I bet your order got bumped. True comparison videos will not be tolerated. Gibson found out GJgo had one on order and they were able to magically get it 'reassigned' to a one of these young hip artists for the Gen Z crowd. Like a true master of puppets. Just like videos disappearing. :dunno:

"These are not the drones you are looking for"

Move along

As someone who has one, I’d rather have everyone have access to them - people who buy gear as investments fuck other people over and ruin the hobby
I only buy combos because nobody wants them. They need a good home too! 😇

I’m wondering why Ola hasn’t made a video? I’m thinking they are afraid he will provide a real opinion vs the original.

Seems like he wasn’t even invited to Gibson. Granted location is a challenge but they flew everyone else?

Ola is the only one other than Uncle Ben that keeps it real in his vids - camera errors, technical issues, etc. I just wish Ola would cool it on the burping and fart sounds catering to his younger crowd. As someone else already said they need the clicks, likes, and watch time. Whatever it takes.

I have not heard a single good demo yet. I have heard good tones. I have heard tones that the original can do. I haven't heard that certain something that the originals do, and until you feel one, you don't get it.

I wouldn't worry about that. After the video he put out saying the C+, JP & VII are close enough he couldn't tell a difference I knew that it's true he makes all amps sound the same.

Is this amp release world wide or only for U.S? I know Ola has big influence here in the states but my guess is that they don't have a euro model yet available but I could be totally wrong.

This thread is like a bad penny🤣

Ignoring anything high gain in the demos because the metal players are already “locked in” sounds like a cop out to me.

When the JP2C was released did they tell Petrucci not to do a demo of it, then release a bunch of demos of guys with strats?

Maybe they did I don’t remember its launch that well. But I’m pretty sure I remember a long video of Petrucci demoing the amp showing every possible tone you could get out of it (including high gain)

That guy seems to have a strap on fetish

the current 2C+ reissue demos sound more geared towards I/IIA tones.
