Proof the Earth is round

That it is a historically accurate, "Inspired" account of Jesus and basis for a new religion.
Explain "new religion"
The OT prophets were Jewish and prophesied of Christ - and these prophecies were fulfilled.
And expound on "historically accurate" - show me how the writings of scripture, multitudes of historical documentation, thousands upon thousands of eye witnesses, repeated prophecies coming true etc.... aren't accurate?

Isa 53
2For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,
And like a root out of parched ground;
He has no stately form or majesty
That we should look upon Him,
Nor appearance that we should desire Him.
3He was despised and forsaken of men,
A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
And like one from whom men hide their face
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4¶Surely our griefs He Himself bore,
And our sorrows He carried;
Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten of God, and afflicted.
5But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our peace fell upon Him,
And by His wounds we are healed.

You are the one making the claim — show me "multitudes" of historical documentation.

No, show me "multitudes" of historical documentation that confirm that the NT/Gospels are an accurate account and that Jesus actually existed.
is it your contention that the individuals, places, towns, events etc.... did not exist and are not part of the historical record?
66 books of reliable historical data

I'm asking you to provide the multitudes of historical documentation that confirm the texts in question.

I understand what you're asking, it's the logic I'm struggling with.
The document itself is the documentation?

Would you like me to provide you with the constitution of the United States to Prove that the Constitution exists and is historically accurate?

That the founders wrote the constitution and that it governs (Kind of) the US is not in contention. Anyways, you can find all kinds of historical evidence, such as commentaries, news artifacts, letters and so on that confirm it's authenticity. I'm asking for the same with respect to the NT. You're either being disingenuous, which I don't think Jesus would approve of, or dumb, in which case you might want to pray for wisdom and God will supposedly grant it, just as your book says.

Are you really asking me that? Stop and think for a minute about what you are asking.

And do not speak to me about praying for wisdom, nor what the Lord will or won't grant.
It is an grave offense for you to say that to me.

There is a difference between baptism and taking your child to church, a very big one.
Why take an infant to church?
I don't see how you could use the parable to explain the losing of one's salvation?
Surely you would agree many hear the gospel, but don't do anything with it?
In the parable of the talents, all of the characters are in a servant role. One servant fails to be profitable with what he was given by his master and is no longer considered a servant afterwards, hence the loss of salvation.

Milquetoast christianity. Endless sermons and rock band worship music. Four lime green walls and a stage. Business attire. Discount grape juice and a fleck of bread "communion".
I had never heard an electric instrument in a church until I went to a friends wedding when I was 20.

"Protestantism is a branch of Christianity[a] that emphasizes justification of sinners through faith alone, the teaching that salvation comes by unmerited divine grace, the priesthood of all believers, and the Bible as the sole infallible source of authority for Christian faith and practice.[1][2] The five solae summarize the basic theological beliefs of mainstream Protestantism."

...As of 2024, Protestantism has a total of 625,606,000 followers.[13][16][j]

I grew up Catholic
You don't attend liturgy any longer?

Good protestant faiths and churches can be very good but to me it's still like having a swimming pool in your back yard and never getting to swim in the deep end. No saints, no martyrs, the lack of belief in the true body and blood of Christ in communion. If it's all symbolic then I have no real need for church cause I'm "saved" already. It's mostly like a different religion to me in it's practice. I need a prayer rule. I need prostrations. I need days of fasting. These things aren't salvific in and of themselves but they help develop discipline in the Christian life. Those were things I was supposed to figure out myself when I was a protestant. Now I have 2000 years of wisdom to assist me.
