They are inseparably intertwined, that's where you miss the boat. Sola Scripture, or "scripture only" is a heresy and a big reason why protestants all disagree with each other and every church makes a different "statement of faith".

If you commune via faith then why bother with actual communion? OH IT"S SYMBOLIC. Then just draw a picture of it then. Dwell on it for a while, that should be good enough. Pour a cup of welch's and it's all good bruh.

It's symbolic in the sense that the elements of communion are not real the real blood and body of Christ but it's still has a spiritual meaning to us. We still take it very seriously.

So if a man is on his death bed and was an unbeliever his whole life but then repents and in faith submits to Christ just before He dies your position is because he never took communion he never enters heaven?

Doesn’t work for the their on the cross bro who that day was with Jesus in paradise

Orthodox or non orthodox? If he is non-orthodox he is treated and judged as someone outside orthodoxy. That doesn't mean he cannot go to heaven, it just means if he does go to heaven his reward will be less than someone who lived a similar life but was orthodox and did take communion.

Yes, that is Dismas and he is a saint in the orthodox church. Gesmas was unrepentant and did not enter Paradise with the Lord.

No and we don't believe rituals save us. Communion does not save us. Communion is an act of obedience, reverence and remembrance out of love for what Jesus did for us on the cross.
