BY WHAT STANDARD ARE THESE TRADITIONS TO BE CONFIRMED AS RELIABLE ?
Von can answer for himself, but as I understand, they are confirmed reliable by the Orthodox Church. If you're asking for some kind of external standard I can't say, but I assume it would be the same sort of stuff that Protestants appeal to, such as historical records and so on.

"Jesus is identified as ego eimi in the sense of the old testament ani hu, then one is left with two persons sharing the one nature that is God, and this, when it encounters John's discussion of the Holy Spirit, becomes the basis of the doctrine of the Trinity."
- Dr. James White " the forgotten trinity".
Jesus may share a God "nature" (Whatever that means) but according to simple logic, Jesus can't be God.

Show me in the text where she wasn't. Sola Scriptura is another heresy that was condemned hundreds of years ago and that's what you are trying to use to justify your points. Every point you will try to make tonight has already been addressed ages ago so you're reduced to picking and choosing which ecumenical councils you'll agree with and which ones you'll deny because protestantism is choose your own adventure christianity.
luke 1: 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

He is fully God and fully man. That's the orthodox teaching. Arianism was a heresy in the 4th century that taught that he was a created being and not divine. It was condemned in Nicea in 325.

Right, I am just pointing out the apparent logic problem, as protestants in particular appeal to 'worldly' logic in ascertaining the truth in scripture.

Protestantism is one giant logic problem because it's selective. We believe this council but not that one. We believe this ruling of that council but not that ruling of the same council on a different matter. It's truly choose your own adventure christianity which is why they all argue theology amongst themselves, creating more division in the supposed body of Christ. This is why there are 45000 different denominations. There are 200 different denominations in the USA alone per google.

The writings of the early church fathers.
Ok man.

"hey everyone, I'm right, you're wrong. The writings of the early church fathers has ultimate authority. I can't show you what these writings are, or produce anything corroborating or validating them, you're just going to have to take my word for it". Oh and btw it's a matter of life and death, and involves the eternal resting place of your soul".

good luck with that.

WRONG AGAIN.
We appeal to the Bible.

Very very well said @demondestroyer
please take note that neither of them will provide one single written text or validation for this claim.

simply "it's church tradition"
yea wall "church tradition" has been to rape little boys and sell indulgences allowing people freedom from some fantasy land "purgatory"

Protestants appeal to the Bible.
Which is incomplete on it's own.

What happened to the virgin Mary? The bible says nothing about it. Just as an example. You're missing part of the story with the sola scriptura stuff, which honestly, is not acknolwedged as truthful by every protestant faith because it's faulty theology.

The writings of the early church fathers has ultimate authority. I can't show you what these writings are, or produce anything corroborating or validating them, you're just going to have to take my word for it".
I never said they were the ultimate authority so in your anger you're putting words in my mouth. You are welcome to search out the writings of the early church fathers. It's an ocean of additional information. I'm not going to do it for you.

I've already addressed this multiple times.
Not one single protestant denomination conveys anything other than justification by Christ alone.
the differences are on secondary issues, not primary ones.

and not a single one worships mary, or embraces cannibalism.

now it's your turn - provide scripture explicitly stating Mary was sinless.
Well I can say explicitly she was sinful like the rest of us.

Romans 3:23 says all have fallen short of the glory of God.

It doesn't say All have fallen short of the glory of God except for Mary.

This rubbish they say about she chose not to sin... well if that's the case she'd be sinless.

it's an ocean of heresy is what it is and you can't appeal to any of it.

Mary died i can guarantee you that, and her death is confirmation of her sinfulness.

That's the real kicker. You accuse me of cannibalism, just like pagan romans accused the early christians of doing because the we believe it is the body and blood of Christ. So in your zeal for Christ you have somehow taken a tired old pagan approach to the faith.

Imagine a world where someone says "hey murder is no longer against God because the writings of the early Church fathers condone it"

you're just supposed to believe what I say.

ridiculous.

do you believe when taking the Eucharist you are ingesting the actual physical body and blood of Jesus Christ?
Yes or No?

It's not in the bible though. Where is your source?

See, we can both play your stupid game.
yea man, the bible doesn't contain the obituary of every human listed there.

are you saying Mary did not die?

do you believe when taking the Eucharist you are ingesting the actual physical body and blood of Jesus Christ?
Yes, 100 percent. The pagan romans accused early christians of cannibalism (just like you are doing now) for that reason.
