Proof there is a God

So did Eve choose to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil or was she forced to?

So we can see from that question that sin is a choice. Mary, as the very mother of God, chose not to sin. Through a woman sin entered the world and through a woman we are redeemed. Through the tree we were condemned but by the tree of the cross we are redeemed. I guess this stuff is controversial to you guys but it's just SOP for us.
where are you getting this information, because it isn't found in the bible?
i thought you said orthodoxy and the bible were in harmony?

The Bible says Jesus was the only sinless person. It does not say "and Mary".

Only God in the flesh could remain sinless.

They teach she died a virgin and Christ received her soul and she was resurrected on the 3rd day. The feast of dormition is held in remembrance of her ascension into heaven.
where is that in the bible?
that isn't in the bible anywhere.

Did she die sinless though? And do you see it as a contradiction to Romans 3:23?

We hold her to have been born of a sin nature and so must suffer bodily death. We hold that unlike Eve, she chose not to sin prior to giving birth to the Lord.

Is sin a choice? if yes, then I have proven my point.

the better question is
does the bible record her as dying sinless or being sinless
not what you believe.

I'm not interested in what anyone here "believes"
my 11 year old believes in the tooth fairy.
It's about what the Bible says.

notice the "we hold" part of that statement.

Most of the early church fathers hold that she was sinless unto death.
Well shows how wrong they are and why the reformation was needed to bring them back to the truth.

Do you think the books that are in the Bible and those that are in the apocrypha are a coincidence? Books were left out for a good reason.

Do you have faith in God's word or faith in man? Do you think your early church leaders were men? do you realise men are fallible and sinful.

Because you said that sinless people don't die and Enoch didn't die.
if memory serves two were taken before death
Enoch and Elijah yes? cant exactly remember.
but their being taken doesn't contradict their sinfulness.
Christ covered for their sins as He did all the OT saints.

with regard to Mary there is nothing in scripture about her being taken prior to physical death.
nor is there anything about her sinlessness, or exaltation or any of the things @VonBonfire is saying.

he thinks I'm angry because I'm passionate.
but won't answer the repeated question "where in the bible is that taught"

They weren't canonized but they are still of great value. As are the writings of the early church fathers. We still keep the apocrypha/septuagint in our bible though they aren't held to the same regard as the rest of the book.

for reference the apocrapha doesn't affirm mary's alleged sinlessness either.
