PLX is a homophobic wanker who spends his time telling the forum how much of a good person he is, when his actions and words show him to be yet another loudmouthed religious dickhead.

I'm all for intelligent discussion, even when it gets pointy. There's something to be said for sharpening our mental axes against each other. It teaches respect and to have wide horizons.

This place has improved outta sight since the last lot of mouthbreathers were shown the door a little while ago, it'll be the same when he goes.
Good job to the Admins as far as I'm concerned.

Nope he’s done. I was going to lift his ban until he rejoined and started shit posting. So he can rejoin… then when he gets caught he will be banned. Not sure what the logic is about shit talking this site and being on here 24/7… people are strange. Typical narcissist behavior though. I will leave and tons of members will jump ship because gosh darnit I’m special and people really like me….NOT…. Probably doing him a favor. Might ban myself as well…

There’s layers and layers of stuff that happens behind the scenes. Pretty hilarious really. Like I said…I was going to lift it and boom….rejoined as an alt and started up again. So yeah….not happening now. No one to blame but himself. Of course he was the only person on here that actually played guitar….not sure how we will make it with porn soundtrack clips… I’m sure we will carry on for a while and then we’ll collapse because he’s not here carrying this site and being the avatar of justice against paid posting alts. Fuckin moron. Dumbest shit I have ever read.

Yep, agree.
I'll take anyone at face value, but constant negativity and shit talking, including against the forum you're on? Seriously, why sign up then?

Christianity has been around for 2000 years as the New Testament and maybe 4000 odd years ago as the Old Testament/Judaism.
Anatomically modern humans have been around for 300, 000 years.

So Christianity represents about 1.3% of the time modern humans have existed. This is like being overly concerned about the most recent 18 minutes of the last 24 hours. It's irrelevant compared to the bigger picture.

Our planet is 4.5 billion years old. I'm not even going to do the maths on Christianity's relevance to that.

There's waaay bigger fish to fry than to debate whether some relatively recent Judaistic cult which was mish-mashed with just about every other dominant belief system and then globally marketed and enforced during the Dark Ages is really the truth.

Strange followup to your previous post, tbh.

Regarding language itself and not just solely religious texts; When were the first Semitic writings? When were the first writings? Who were responsible for the first writings that weren't just proto-heiroglyphic? What did that group have in common with the Jews? Did they have any motivation to oppress Judaism? What occurred prior to that period? During the Ice Age? Prior to that?

I can tell you that I've seen buildings and cars in the deserts that were less than a hundred years old and in would no way survive another hundred given their conditions without the preservation or interference of humans. This is without oxidation induced by high moisture climates, where otherwise most humans tend to and have lived throughout history. The relevancy to all of this is given the loss of history seems quite easy for an argument that complete religious origins or even basic history isn't likely known. I would hope that you can see that given your authority over educating others with objectiveness.

Despite any of that; What does religion have to do with the existence of God? Is it required for the latter to exist? Are humans required for the existence of reality? Why would we be for God? The true purpose of this thread (in my understanding) is the existence or presence of God and not the nature of human interpretation of the will or plans of God. Do you have evidence of a Godless Universe? Religious philosophy aside, we have been here since the beginning of the universe. We literally come from the stars and we will literally go back to them one day. At least according to most of the Godless.

If my kids were in his classes and I found out this was him, I would remove them from his classes.

Teachers who indoctrinate is how we got to this shit show in the first place.

If you are right about 300,000 years of modern humans then pretty much anything can be criticized for it's relative short length within history. Not an accurate barometer of truth. It was "mish mashed" as you put it because some of the characters found therein were part of older cultures. Abram was Sumerian. Moses was raised as an Egyptian. Joseph ruled second only to Pharoah. The middle east has long been a cross roads for the intermingling of cultures. Roman and especially Greek influence is still a big part of scripture, judaism, and eastern Christianity.

"Globally marketed and enforced during the dark ages". The dark ages were a European thing. In the meantime eastern orthodoxy blossomed under the byzantine empire. The dark ages there were brought about by Islam, who it can be demonstrated, stole most of their practices from judaism and Christianity and blended it into their own and then added a healthy dose of warfare to the whole thing.

Good morning Jdell.

So all I have to do is look around and see that the proof of God is all around me?

That everything I need to know is in a book, and therefore there is no need to explore further?
