It's hard to even keep track of this with the total page long sucking each other off wars in the comments. This is the furthest thing from a war I've ever seen. It's like a pajama party where everyone shares the same cheese snacks.
Dare I say it seems like... a few of you have even designated this a "safe place" for your feelings and man, it makes me sick.

I can write leads and have, but I'm not a shreddy wanker solo player at all for sure. Not all, but alot of those guys usually can't write a good groove or thrash song. Of course there are exceptions, but none I've seen here. James hetfield probably a good example, you'd look dumb saying that and he doesn't shred either, but does lead licks... so put your statement into context.... edit... fuck it its cool. I sound dumb to you but you sound like a hobbyist to everyone. Playing in non metal bands has given me an appreciation for improvisation that i didn't have before - all of my leads on my tracks are improvised now. Normally I give it two or three takes and that's it
It's not as tight or perfect as it could be, but it also has more FEEEEEEL (the biggest jerk would be proud) and vibes
