What I said and what I meant was money is not that important to me. I know this is a completely foreign concept in America but there it is.

Maybe some back story would help. I don't have much money and thats been for a long long time. You want to talk about YOU HAVE TO EAT... yeah you do, and I have had plenty of times that I had no money to eat and yet here I am. I guess you could say I have had so little for so long that I don't need stuff or money to make myself happy. Regardless of what you might think of me as a person it is quite liberating in a lot of ways.

redrol, i'm the same way...money doesn't MAKE me happy, BUT, being able to eat, having a place to sleep and so on and so forth DO...all of which require money...unless you wanna eat out the dumpster and sleep in a van down by the river.
to say money doesn't make you happy is a loaded statement. trust me, i've said it alot. it always warrants an explanation of sorts along with it. some people see money in the big picture, others don't...people like you and the old me can walk around with nothing and be fine...but how long have you gone without? it makes it alot easier to get by when you know that things are gonna pull thru or you have someone who can help.
most people are driven by money yes...to me, it would be hard to live like that...but to some people, it would be hard to live being driven by music...i'm driven by music.
