Got done playing the stealth with my drummer at gig level.
Continues to impress. Love it.
Most powerful amp I have had my dirty hands on. :D

Just finished jaming on my combo and this thing absolutely flat out fucking stops anything I have played. My paul, my hot rodded start they all sound fantastic! This thing is the real deal!

I'm going to play a FJA modded 5150 III this weekend and going to take clips.. I'm thinking I might be handing him a large sum of cash shortly afterwards. lol
I heard some amzing Marshall mods by FJA, this is very interesting. Please post what you gathered

I played the shit out of this particular head this weekend through a Mills Afterburner 4x12.. I can see the appeal for sure ,but in the end it wasn't for me. That red channel was nuts.

Can one of you guys that are singing the praises of the amp kindly post a video of the volume jump from green to blue?

So I remember a post a while back asking about the bias control and how to measure and set it using the test points on the back of the amp (not sure if this is a Stealth only issue).

The test points are reading voltage across the control grid, not current across the plate. They essentially correspond but one reads low safe voltage and the other would read current which would be pretty dangerous.

To adjust, uncover where the bias pot at the back of the amp is located and insert a small flat head screwdriver into the hole. Spin the screwdriver a little until you feel it slip down and engage the slot. Now with your multimeter on volts, dial up or down to get the setting you prefer.

My amp came in a little too cold for my liking, at 91 for all 4 tubes. I turned it up to 110 and it kicks all kinds of ass now.
Hope that helps.

I have the Stealth and the 50 watt. I like to roll back the gain on the blue channel and smack it with a Rocket Fuel Aldrich pedal.

Yes I know it makes no sense but it sounds so good I cant stop doing it.

I gig with the EVH 4x12 and EVH 2x12. Also sounds great through my Splawn 2x12 with sb25s.

wow.. i like the sound of this! I've heard great things about this pedal.. I have the 50 watter and the EVH cab, i pretty live on blue, still undecided on Red.. so i guess i'm not in love with Red..

The Volume jump between Green and Blue is not an issue for me. On its own you notice a little, but with the band its not that noticeable. Like my band, i do tend to play loud-ish, so maybe its an issue for more passive (quieter bands). This amp LOVES to be cranked! I now actually use the Blue channel with an attenuator (Axe FX Filter Block) for my cleans now, don't use the green anymore.

So, my question....what is the special designed speaker for the 112? The 2x12 has G12H.
Is it just a cheap Celestion?

I bought the matching 12" evh cab as a practice speaker, its not a particularly sweet tone, needs to be broken in! I have the 4x12, that is a different story, sounds pretty sweet with only a handful of gigs and rehearsals.

Having some jewel light covers mold made since I could not find any I pulled mine and sent it to my buddy who make molds for plastic parts, once I get back I can pour covers in different colors ,should have the mold and my red cover back in 3 to 4 weeks. Just a feeler here if when I get set up would you guys be interested in them? I can pour them in any color. Blue, purple, green, white, Teal, even Pink. If so let me know so I can order the proper amount of PE and dye. I am currently working on some plastic items for amp protection for storage of investment amplifiers from dust been doing some R&D on amplifier temps after playing for extended periods in order to protect amplifiers from dust and other shit that get in them during transport and storage the patent will be pending in a few weeks.

Getting to know the blue channel......I like you, blue channel.

I prefer blue

I am very interested in the stealth. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on one. I can't seem to find fault with anything about it.

So I'm going to chime in on the Stealth after having owned one for a week. I was underwhelmed by it when I first tried it out. I thought it sounded good just not amazing. In stock configuration I thought it was a bit fizzy, harsh, and congested sounding.
I replaced the stock preamp tubes with some nice NOS glass that I had set aside for a rainy day and it sounded a hundred times better. Great clarity and note separation, solid tight bottom end, a great midrange. Still a little fizzy and harsh so I checked the bias and ended up warming it up from 91 to 110. Actually I initially tried 120 but it started sounding too tubby in the lows so I backed it down to 110.

At this point I feel safe saying the Stealth is a monster and may well be the last amp I ever buy. This is all about the blue channel, btw. The green channel sounds great with a split coil or out of phase setup but it breaks up a bit using a full volume Warpig which I guess is to be expected. The red channel is a work in progress. Globs of gain, with clarity but not shrill, and a very fluid feel have me feeling encouraged and hopeful that I'll be able to find a satisfying setting for buttery lead work on the red channel.

One last thought - the Stealth sounds great through a VHT/Fryette 412 cab.

It has occurred to me that this thing would sound great through a pair of Marshall 425B cabs. I sure wish I could get my hands on a couple but they must be the hardest cabs to find anywhere.
