Well, it is what it is.. he'll figure it out...
I have no problem with block passing or some rubbing, but when its a heat race and its your team mate, it would have been a sign of maturity to not be quite so obvious about it..
It won't be as fun when its you that fails to make the main

I have to remember that’s an immature kid up there answering questions. He sounds like a stoned teenager, but he’s young.

We'll start over this weekend..
Its probably gonna be a situation where he has to learn some life lessons in real time while he pretends he already knows them all.. At 17
Or.. He just gets back to going fast and not talking so much...

He's got three weeks "off" to think about it before the next 250E green flag. I wouldn't expect it to slow him down, but it will be interesting to follow.

I want to see that family succeed but this reminds me a lot of what a shithead Bryan was back in the day when he got all jealous while Travis 199 was everybody’s favorite.

Yep
Mostly because he was a faster, better rider who didn't blame his mistakes on "the corporate system"
And he was a super nice guy too
Haiden will likely figure it all out, Brian ultimately did later and turned out fine. I'm sure he advised him on the reality of the situation vs life as a you tube influencer, which carries zero weight on the start gate. The kid has made huge strides in a very short time and has def got skills.
The beauty of our sport is its so hard to do at the top levels and there are so few spots on the gate that the cream always rises to the top.

Any big news before tonight's race? I haven't been paying attention since MotoGP has started.

Well, the Jett train is back, RJ might have gleaned something from his 450 stint that could carry over, but most disappointing is no Shimoda!
I'm really struggling with my 450 picks, there are so many variables at the moment I will likely just play it safe with a few possibles...
What say you?
Sexton
Eli
Coop
AP7
Barcia

I know, right????
I will say that was a little different from the usual thing that happens, that was a pretty violent cupped out edge his front tire caught and drove him in the ground like a tent stake. Good thing he's in great shape. Being a slow-guy, I had a bad habit of looking directly in front of me because shit like that terrified me due to being injured so many times, while those guys are always looking farther ahead, so it makes sense that he never saw what was coming.
Still...... Holy crap!
Great race though, lots of good stuff happened. Eli crushed it when he had to.
Looks like it will be a battle of the will's to the end, I love that!!

I wonder if you’re right about his setup? More often than not the front end is wadding up one way or the other. The internet warriors are calling for him to go to KTM.

Webb and Tomac had BETTER give some recognition to Sexton considering the wins and podiums he has handed to them. That kid could easily be a champion otherwise. He has to be mentally F’d at this point.

Nice to see C. Craig dominate for once on a 450.

Seems like it's becoming more than a trend. I'm sure his confidence is rattled. How he gets through it could be very compelling considering his outright speed, and that he usually looks controlled and fairly smooth.

My bad. I don’t recall seeing him lead from gate to finish line like that on a 450.

Then I guess I'm missing something. Wasn't he mid-pack throughout, and hasn't shown much more in SX (450)?

He won heat 1 and rather dominantly. If he can keep finding that kind of speed it will mix up the podiums some.
