Another great race. I hate to see this happening to Chase, I hope he's not getting the James Stewart lack of concentration curse.

Roczen looks to be back in proper from by starting off strong and finishing a few spots off podium. Barcia still staying consistent and a wild card.

It'll obviously be coming down to Webb and Tomac, and I still give the edge to Tomac.
Me too, that's gotta be real discouraging for Chase. It does appear to be very similar to the Stewart syndrome. That stuff is hard to fix

Thanks. These are Pirellis. They’re fine, but I’m so green getting back into it I probably wouldn’t notice a different tire. That’s only my 3rd track visit on that bike since new.
Their sand tires were fantastic back when I still rode at some of the Fla sand tracks. I ran Dunlops on everything else

Sweet!
That all black is gonna be hell to keep up, but it looks cool!
I see 5 gallons of minty fresh VP in there :D
Yep, T4. Love that smell.

You’d love that facility dude. Three phenomenal tracks that were all flagged. After the monsoon stopped they had the tractors out working the bad areas.

I mostly did the “miles and miles” of trails and holy hell am I out of shape.

I will say I passed several high end quads that were broke down on those trails. Pushing a bike out of there would be bad enough. Hopefully someone towed them out.

After this past weekend at MMP, it was the final straw. I bought cheap $120 boots when I started riding again and have been tolerating it. Saturday, my buddy is like “Dude, stop wearing that crap and get some Alpine Star Tech 7’s.”. Great purchase and I’ll never go back. Been walking around the yard and can’t believe the immediate difference. I paid top dollar for all my gear except the boots for some reason like a mouth breather.

OOOOOOooooooooo!
Very nice!
Best boots out there, for sure (y)
They break in pretty quick too. Or at least they used to

Nice score man. I have the Tech 5's and I love them. The Tech 10's are the nicest boots I've ever put on my feet. I literally feel like I could case a jump in them and walk away just fine. I thought I was going to like the Fox Instincts, Gaerne SG12's (all of my riding buddies boot of choice), or Sidi Crossfires more, but the Tech 5's are perfect for me.

To the the only difference in the Tech 5 and Tech 7 were the Tech 7s have metal buckles, better leather, and that sweet red star above the ankle. They both fit exactly the same. Plus I got the Tech 5's at a great price. It's amazing the deals you can find out there. My wife got a Fox V4 helmet for like $200 bucks years ago and good luck with that now.

You will love riding in those boots. Great choice.

Its on for Glendale!!
1rst and 2nd tied in points, also 4th and 5th tied with Sexton between them all, I think this is gonna be a dogfight!
Track looks killer, should be harder dirt and has some interesting split sections. Finish line jump looks like the turn leading into it will be good for passing at the last second. Long start straight too with a fast left hander.
And its a Triple Crown race!
I'm stoked!!

That dirt does look like the very type that can get Sexton in trouble in the turns if he's leading...
Just sayin.

You mean it's the dirty dirt, that he would have to ride through?
Srsly, I hope he does well. Much better to have as many as possible in the fight.

I was thinking about the triple crown implications. Could be a huge benefit for some guys.

Just read that McAdoo could be out "several months" after surgery. Damn, another one that can't catch a break.

Nice! My (original) ankle wished I'd done the same years ago. Even if you're going over roots, creeks crossings, etc., you'll be glad immediately and maybe in the future.

I meant a bunch of the flat turns will be hard and slippery, that has bit him on the ass a few times with his front end pushing out for whatever reason

Yeah I hate that, he was one of only a few guys that Jett has to even think about at all...
I sure wish Shimoda was in there, I think Jett would still be leading the points, but he would make it a lot more interesting.

Forkner is a serious threat to Jett but he's always hurt .

I saw the VMX report on Jo speculation. He's a hot property right now, especially after last year's outdoor season.

Forkner always seems to be a serious threat, but how many years (in a row??) now has started then been sidelined? He and Sensemilla are crash-fests.

Mmmmmmmm..
Track looks really good.
More 1 line than I was hoping, but those wide entries on the sweepers are useful, whoops are good. Eli's gonna be hard to stop. Jett too
Sexton looks very conservative at R1. Barcia looks motivated
RJ is charging, Levi too
