Honestly I don’t see how anyone can believe it’s a coincidence that the moon happens to blot out the Sun like that from time to time, perfectly. Is a great argument for design!

Well, you know me … 🤣
It's just not impressive to me. To be honest with the UFO activity we've had around here the past couple years there are a helluva lot more interesting things going on in the skies than an eclipse. Between me and my old lady we've see about 8 different crafts in less than 4 years the most recent being last week....

What is wrong with people in the US... honestly.

If it's not conspiracies it's aliens.

You just can’t know until you experience it. I wouldn’t have thought much of it but my buddy made me go in 2017. I seriously think it does something to you.

There are all kinds of proofs out there. If you choose unbelief none of them matter.

I dunno. All the people at the gig were from overseas who came here to watch a 3 minute phenomena. From the UK. What is wrong with people in the UK? The same thing wrong with people everywhere....

Those streamers are called the Corona. They are always there but you can never see them. But during a total eclipse the moon perfectly aligns such that the sun is blocked but not the Corona. It’s was gives it such a spectacular effect, and you can watch it with you naked eye. It looks like a hole in the sky.

You beat me to it bro'.

What're the odds? :dunno:

Why do you need special glasses to look at an eclipse? The moon is blocking the sun so it shouldn't be all that bright.

If you happen to be in a place where the moon completely blocks the sun, you can look at it without glasses for those few minutes.

In fact, you shouldn’t even look at it the moment the sun starts to peak out from behind the moon, known as the “Diamond ring” … but I have both times I’ve seen it… probably just don’t do it for longer than a second. You instinctively shut your eyes anyways because it’s bright
