Whats up with the eclipse frenzy. Damn people all hyped up

likening it to a hole opening up in the heavens is not science.

but funny you an comprehend seeing the corona during an eclipse but not why you don't see stars in moon pictures.
I’ve seen dozens of supposed pics of the earth from space with stars in the background and the earth is more reflective than the moon 🤔

He said UFO’s not aliens. And they’ve acknowledged it.
The gov't isn't a very clever organization. Most of the crafts take the same flight path as all the military planes so it's obvious. The air force base is in San Antone and other people in proximity to the area have spotted similar stuff in the last couple decades . I am off the interstate about five or six miles so it's dark out here. They run a loop, the same loop, again and again with the mil craft and it's the same deal with the ufos. There is another airport that flies vintage craft down there. And the local small airport I can see from my house so I watch a lot of small planes coming and going, taking off and landing. Blackhawks are real common. I've seen Chinooks quite a few times. A bunch of neat WWII craft. F,16''s. Life flite, etc.

I've seen the black triangle a few times now. Always at night. That thing is insane. It goes from hovering to boomeranged out of sight real quick, like a jump to hyper speed. Slowly rotates, then rotates faster then all of a sudden, gone. But they got something else now like a mirrored craft that we've seen as recently as last week. You can only detect it when the sun reflects off it's surface and then it disappears. Not even sure the shape. I suspect it is triangular but the times I have spotted it it seemed like the long tip was pointed upwards, like a cloaking wonka-vator. Crazy stuff.

I don’t really doubt they found little green men and put them on a dissection table…someone/thing had to fly those ships 🤷‍♂️

I don't know if I buy into all that. I don't believe in aliens from other planets. I only believe in demons and angels. I suspect some married dude who is a line towing SOB flies those things and just keeps his mouth shut. I do believe they made a deal with the devil for that tech. The book of Enoch is clear when it says that the fallen taught the art of fire making, weapon making, and metallurgy, (among other things) and that's what we are talking about here to pull off a craft like that. Even a wooden bow and arrow is a pretty tech piece of equipment. I can't imagine someone came up with that on their own, there is way too much detail there to make it work right.

Yeah I have no idea. We’ve all heard rumors, area 51, etc. But sure, maybe supernatural or spiritual beings.

Its not like it never happened b4.

I can remember a few in my 6 decades

Dickheads driving 9 hours paying $1000 for hotels just to get a spot.

Traffic jams, tent cities popping up

Me? I'll look out the window then go back to my cubby hole and work.

All nut jobs out there

I was in Albany Friday and every highway had signs up to “expect delays” because of the eclipse. I guess they planned on a bunch of morons pulling over on the side of an interstate to watch it.

Here it was "no stopping on shoulder during eclipse". Even out on the back roads they had movable signs with that programmed into them. Like you are going to enforce that on every TX highway and byway. Mission impossible.

Of course they can’t. That’s why psychological manipulation and narrative control are so important. It’s ultimately all they have.

That's why I avoided going outside during the eclipse. If they are saying "everyone is watching the eclipse" my inner contrarian is awakened and says "no, not everyone". If they told me to stay inside during the eclipse I probably would've set up some lawn chairs. I never do what I'm told. That would be to civilized.

So you’re like more into rocketships and moon buggies than observation I take it? I heard Maine was awesome.

I think cosmology is very interesting. Moon landings are topical at the moment so I’ve posted about them. As I’ve said, I’d love to post more about JWST, or the upcoming Vera Rubin observatory, and the implications of their findings, but that would obviously be pointless here.

I do not find eclipses interesting or exciting. Certainly not enough to travel for.

I would rather hear about that than moon shit. I don't know what JWST is though so maybe I'm off base.

This is the kind of odd character quirk like when a dude you know loves Gibsons but blurts out "Les Pauls suck!" at random one day.

I just don’t think an eclipse is anything special or extraordinary. It’s cool looking, sure. But the only thing exciting about this one is the location for people who live near the path. The next one will be exactly the same for people who live in a different location. We know decades in advance when they are going to happen. Big whoop. It’s more like saying “oh you play guitar? You must love John Mayer! I can’t believe you aren’t going to take a day off from work and drive 5 hours to see him play for 10 minutes…”

Compared to something like JWST, which finds something new and exciting nearly every week.
It is beginning to turn certain fields of study on their head. It’s all still new and largely unproven, but some of the findings are making people rethink long time, largely accepted theories.

While the JWST can look ridiculously far back and and see “small” areas in great detail, the Vera Rubin will look at much larger areas. Its intent is to literally map the universe. It will most likely image “Planet X”.

These are things that will alter text books for my children.
The eclipse won’t even be on tiktok feeds anymore by the weekend
