Yeah, I’ve seen the supposed prophecies in Genesis. My impression is that the majority of the messianic prophecies in the OT are subjective, or quite tenuous. Maybe in Hebrew there is a more apparent case to be made.
:ROFLMAO:

Your "case" will be in front of the Great White Throne of Judgement, buddy.

I might fear him more if I had confidence that he actually existed. But I’d probably still get roasted ‘cause I’m a punk like that 🤷‍♂️

It's pretty self evident that our world did not come about at random man, c'mon.
I agree, but that doesn’t lead to any given religion as far as I can tell. That’s why I generally consider myself a deist.

Ok so in your view random creator god makes us, snorts and chortles at what he made, and walks away leaving everyone to their own devices and so really whether you choose the path of good or evil, belief or unbelief, is completely irrelevant and without consequence. Typical of modern thinking, no offense. I guess you get to fit in with the crowd though, which is something you are always accusing aynirar about when he chooses to believe narrative based claims.

Those two are going to be smoking the same turd, in hell.

I just don’t believe the Bible is true. I think humans made it up. I don’t hold the belief to fit in or not, it’s just what I believe based on looking at it, thinking about it, etc. Same goes for Islam.

You just kicked Christ off his bema seat and made yourself the judge. Not what we want to be doing.
Wrong.. we are to exercise correct discernment.

Those two damn themselves with every post here.

Don't be stupid, Vonnie.

So you believe in nothingness, or in speculations, which are rarely true at best and usually never true. That seems even less insightful to me.
I don’t believe in nothingness either. I just think the origins of our existence are a mystery.

Yeah, discernment. Stealing is wrong. Murder is wrong.. Unbelief is wrong. "You shouldn't steal, that's wrong" is fine. "You're an unbeliever damning yourself to eternity in hell" is you setting yourself up as judge. You aren't the decider of where people will spend eternity. It's not wise to talk this way. What if I called you a protestant heretic and said unless you became orthodox you would be damned to hell. That's me putting myself in Christ's judgement seat. It's wrong. Discern that. You ain't the judge. Neither am I.

The bible makes it clear that most of it is a mystery. You sound like my neighbor who expects a leather bound library from God detailing every secret of creation. Read Job. 38. It's not for you, or anyone else to know.

I get that. What God decided to disclose would obviously be his prerogative, but again, I haven’t seen the evidence for his existence, or rather, I haven’t seen enough consistent evidence to satisfy me personally. I understand the bar is somewhat subjective, so that’s why others have chosen to believe. Or they believe because they want to believe. Maybe I just don’t want to believe, I don’t know. There’s a verse in the Bible about the depth and complexity of the human psyche. I agree. There’s a lot of good stuff in there.

You've been blinded to the truth.. by God.
